My extremely observant wife wants me to make a very large donation to the synogauge but I’ve had doubts about the religion and am secretly contemplating leaving. If you feel that you are going to leave your religion do take it very seriously and TALK with your wife about this. If she cannot be rational with you, you can leave her and the synagogue. Get that bike rack or donate. Do whatever you want. Personally, I'd get the bike rack and take $200? maybe. and do charity myself. Idk buy a meal for homeless etc.
As for your faith, I recommend watching Kent Hovind. He is a Chrisitan and restored my faith. Just go to Youtube and search "Kent Kovind Seminar one" If you are having doubts he will counter them with science and logic.
