The UN says a person needs about 11 gallons of water per day.

I'll just steal someone else's water it's why I bought the guns

Looters will be exploited.

>most of it is for cleaning
well, neets dont have to worry about 11 gallons a day then

>artesian well
>comfy

Couple gallons

I will drink blood of my enemies

None

F

I keep about 30 10 gallon jugs of water and rotate them out/in. I have enough food to be comfortable for 3 years, so much brined and pickled stuff i rotate

You’ll think that up until the moment a round blows your fucking head off.

>30 10 gallon jugs of water and rotate them
Does water expire?

Jokes on you I’m abandoning this sinking ship. Have fun watching your children get raped my shitskins

I have 14 I recommend you make sure they are hidden and out of sight.

If people see and know you have abundant water during hard times (drought, war, severe economic depression...) you will get hit. Storing water is in a way like storing silver and gold in a way; never let others know you have it, not even family.

the plastic does

Waste of time to rotate water especially if it's packaged.

>How much drinking water do you have stored?
About 15 gallons.
Should probably have more, but it's enough to stay holed up with my canned food for a couple weeks.

There's a solar powered well about a mile from my house though for cattle.
I won't be running out of water any time soon.

I go through 10 of them a month for drinking, and at the end of the month i get 10 more. they dont really go bad unless you are retarded and get filth in it and put the water back. i also have a hand pump for my well water. i feel bad for the people who live in the city

Just keep it out of the sun.

I use it already, its not like a rotate it to keep it from spoiling kek

>The UN says a person needs about 11 gallons of water per day.
That's just retarded

This.
Try coming to my house, and taking my shit.
I would appreciate the free guns.

Why not just have a well on your property? I have 50 million gallons of stored under my backyard.

>T. smells like balls and dirty pasta plates all over his room.

>>T. smells like balls and dirty pasta plates all over his room.
If shit hits the fan the whole room will stink

I've got a few beers in the fridge.

Why would I stockpile water? I live in Britain, it rains all the time. So I have filters that are good for 100,000 liters each. Far more portable than water too.

Also general knowledge of how to get water through distillation, well digging etc.

I think clean drinking water will be a good item for barter.

This, I have a well for my house, it can be operated manually via hand pump, while normal operation is electrical, which also has a generator backup.

many trillion gallons in the aquifer my well is in.

So what stops algae from growing in there?

What sort of things would you expect in return for a gallon?

Keep it out of the sun. Add some bleach. Algae wont kill you.

Depends on how much they need the water.

If you are in a bad way during SHTF you can use solar disinfection for questionable tap water. Any clear plastic or glass will work it left in the sun for 6 hours.

Pussy

>you attacking my compound
>me popping up from spiderhole behind you
>nothing personal kid

I bought a 275 gallon food grade tote off of craigslist for $60. This will fit nicely in the corner of my garage and hopefully will never have to fuck with it.

every town here has fresh usable flowing drinking water from 90% of fountain and springs found all over town and town square, even in the countryside they have random ones by the road like pic related, just have to check for the 'trinkwasser' sign (avoid 'kein trinkwasser')

what if your house burns down though?

I have solar on a well.
Well defended.

Storing drinking water is a waste of time and space.

8 drops of chlorine bleach per gallon of water.

Solved all your water problems, just store bleach.

Finland has more clean water that we will ever need.

Option 1 make soup

Option 2 use pic related

Buckwheat is the easiest to cook, best tasting of the basic SHTF carb foods imho. Much more preferable than rice or pasta

>needing an IBC full of water
>need to get the fuck out of dodge
good luck moving it OP

I hope you at least eat them, too
Maybe use them for fertilizer

>good luck moving it
Wat? Its not going anywhere. I have a house with food and water. I'm not going to go live in the mountains.

My chickens would love the maggots that eat their corps.

any recipes you recommend?

carry on OP, i just wanted to write IBC.
are you really prepping?

Pretty much anything that uses mince beef, buckwheat shepherds pie is a good one, have that a lot thanks to faggy vegetarian siblings. Otherwise it's kinda ok purely on its own with sliced up sausages mixed in

Also to cook you just cover in water and slowly boil for ~10 minutes until they go soft and expand

Leaving this here. Bit small , but helpful as Hell.

>are you really prepping?
Yes. I had minimal water supplies but lots of ways to store it then it occurred to me that water bob for the tub doesn't work unless you fill it ahead of time.

Residual water pressure by the time I get home after a emergency may be non existent.

>Grenade Holes
seems a bit short sighted

Maybe a tad , but Ive always seen it as a last resort thing.

bitch i live in the alps near a fount

you know water becomes bad when standin still.you brewing a death soup.
dont just collect it you need filtration and circulation or else you kill your self.

Make sure you use clear glass bottles, unless you like broken down plastic in your water

well collecting rain water in my backyard is illegal for some reason... but... yea
more than you can ever know i guess? enough, ill just leave @ that, enough

Attached: possessedmeliodas.png (1080x1920, 612K)

yes it dose.

>water becomes bad when standin still.
How old is water?

>use clear glass bottles, unless you like broken down plastic in your water
In a survival situation I don't mind plastic.

that's the point though, OP can filter the water he has saved.
still, I would replace it every week or whatever is best

humans are 78% water, they walk around which makes that water portable, and blood has iron too. If you scare them before exterminating them you get a bonus high from the adrenocorticotropic hormone

Lmao I ran out of sausage so just having buckwheat, mash potatoes and a block of cheese. Basically a blizzard outside so nice winter food

The biggest problem is 1 gallon HDPE containers of water at the store are the cheapest but almost always spring a pinhole leak any time over 1 year.

This guy knows.

SHTF just means white people get to go full vampire instead of having to drink kombucha and eat rare red meat.

isn't bottled water sterilised before being bottled?

i don't drink plastic water

I have 4 of these that we use for drinking water. The large cap flips to become a dispenser. Go through about 1 per week. If I had to stay holed up all four would give me about 3 weeks of water. I go once every two weeks to get two of them filled up so that I always have at least 2 filled. Its easy, reasonable and doesnt attract undue attention.

30 gallons stored in the basement.
30 day supply of freeze dried food.
That gives me a month to contemplate if I want to live in the post apocalyptic world.

atlassurvivalshelters.com/fallout-shelters/ thoughts?

>Modular Square
would actually by a plot of land just to live in that.
also the 10x50 & 10x20
has a fucking Escape Pod.

I have a creek. I can boil, filter, or use iodine tabs. But I won't run out.

sweet sounds like one heck of a versatile thing. I'll get some in.

24 pack and a half of water bottles in the cupboard.
There's 50 gallons worth in the water heater tank if I'm desperate.

You're a tard monkey

yeah, scratch that.
fuck water, get the Winenado

That’s how we wind up with water going to waste on tarmacs in PR

Check your local polski sklep or other east European shops, they often tend to eat it too

just ordered this bad boy

Attached: heffbunker.jpg (901x695, 78K)

ahh the old HeffNado
very nice

Will do. I usually get saurkraut from there and some sausage stuff. Plenty of polski shops round here

A must read

* Exploded

shit sounds like ARMA irl
had to kick the shit out of a Bosnian in 99 for being a agro dickhead (thinking I was a police informer while we were living in a hostel)
feels bad when I read about what he went through.

The water on the planet is very old to begin with. Just run it through a alex jones water filter and your Good. Only have about 100 gallons at the moment.

i have an open air shelter

The 10x51 plain looks like great value for money, you can get the fully furnished one for more but both options are cheaper than a house here in sydney
