Conservatards will defend this.
Conservatards will defend this
Libshits will defend the eradication of ethnocultural unity which would have prevented this
explain
Have you listened to Tucker Carlson lately?
I wonder what happened in 1976 that led to this. I wonder why things drastically changed. It cant have anything to do with the abandonment of the gold standard can it
>Hey what do you think about sharing your resources with your countrymen who you have a similar background with and relate to
Hmmm OK sounds good, t. the Nordic model
>Hey what do you think about sharing your resources with a bunch of foreigners who hate you and gloat about replacing you
Lol wtf no, t. United States
The right wing in America has virtually zero intellectuals or billionaires, so they have to sell themselves out to massive business interests in order to get elected. These business interests will bankroll think tanks and media operations to brainwash millions into supporting retarded shit that only benefits themselves.
The fundamental problem is that conservatives have latched their entire movement to Christianity, which is completely toxic to intelligent people. There's a reason there isn't a single serious conservative intellectual.
As urbanization increases however, it's becoming increasingly important for Republicans to develop an urban strategy that can actually muster the support of educated and intelligent people. For this they will need to transition away from religious fundamentalism and towards something better. The esoteric nationalist ideas tepidly embraced by Trump seem to be the path forward.
This actually helps conservatives.
>tax base grows therefore median tax rate increases as people move up into higher brackets
Also how the fuck is the income tax for the top 1% below the median? If were talking income taxes its literally impossible due to how its graduated.
>tfw too smart
>different Y axis values for the median tax rate and the corporate/1% tax rate
Posting intentionally deceptive graphs should be a bannable offense.
Despite the lines making it look like the median tax rate is now higher than the tax rate of the rich, the 1% are actually still taxed at approximately double the rate of the median.
>vague talking points
lol never mind.
And yet money keeps pouring in to the treasury, but never as fast as Government can spend it.
I don't get it - Does OP just want to punish people for having more money than he does?
>how the fuck is the income tax for the top 1% below the median?
Different scales - an old Jewish trick.
...
>gold standard
god I hate this meme
The main good thing about le gold standard is that it fixed exchange rates, but that had absolutely nothing to do with the gold standard per se, and everything to do with the Bretton Woods agreements.
Nixon took the USA off Bretton Woods as part of the "competition is always good" meme, now applied to currencies. This was spurred by the exact same shills for the rich as you goldbug cranks probably idolize (e.g. Friedman).
You've been reading Corey Robin or something? That pretty much exactly what he says.
I'm sure a lot of people are saying it, because it's the truth
>people who have more money than me bad
Wew.
Oh no the corporate and top 1% income tax rates have gone down significantly while the median tax rate has gone up by one and a half points, truly devestating.
The tax burden has significantly shifted downwards.
So the best tax plan is for corporations and the richest 1% to pay an arbitrarily high portion of our taxes? The higher the better? You're not making an argument.
Not "arbitrarily high", but those with the means should bear more of the burden, yes.
*capital flight intensifies*
Impose capital controls.
(you know, like how the developed world had for a very long time to prevent exactly that?)
>had
That's against the religion of free trade user
It was tax on money, that where not reinvested back in the business. Not on the geral income or profit.
