I took 50mg zinc for 3 days and all of my joints were aching horribly as if my cartilage disappeared. Flu symptoms - I was basically bedridden for a week. I tried this again months later thinking I just caught a cold but it happened all over again. Went back down to 15mg and I'm fine.
