Lived in Manhattan from 2009 to 2013 - midtown/upper east. Moved out just in time. Right before de blasio took office, thank goodness

It wasnt too bad when I was there. I never had to go to the borroughs too much, which was nice. Lived a 10min walk from my apt to the office.

It’s just a noisy crowded hell. You’re going to pay out the ass to live a non human existence. Humans are not supposed to live like that. Chinatown is barely Chinese but there are some good places there. You can get cheap but good pair of glasses there for less than a quarter then in store prices as well as bongs and pipes. Courtland Ally in Chinatown is where a lot of music videos get shot and is a good place to smoke/drink and a generally aesthetic place to hang out. Dont buy weed from the niggers there though.
