Look at your average African community the women do everything: They bear the children Take care of the children Provide resources for the children So what happens when if the women commit suicide? The community dies out. That is why black women have low rates of suicide because they don’t have the genes that cause suicide because natural selection weeded them out from their gene pool. Since the African communities that had women who committed suicide died out.

Because in other communities the men help out. For example in European communities the women bear and take care of their children, the men provide resources and are secondary care givers of the children. So the child of a white woman who committed suicide has a better chance of survival than the child of a black woman who commits suicide. If an African woman commits suicide her child has virtually no chance of survival. Hence the genes that cause suicide are not being passed down.
