I'm a German software guy whose company is going to move to the US and hire American staff, and I'm quite concerned about the political climate and that I'm going to have to tip-toe around every contentious topic while young programmers are going to tell me what invented pronouns they want me to use.
I'm looking for advice on where to look for talent that isn't indoctrinated or at least tolerant of dissenting opinions.
It depends on what niche desu. A JS developer is more likely to be a sjw fag than someone who writes code in C for example
Landon Baker
>company is going to move to the US and hire American staff > American staff Also known as H1-B Indians
Ayden Gonzalez
Mostly .NET and JS in the form of TypeScript. Why do you think JS people are SJWs?
Luis Hughes
let the retards code. Easier for me to inject my cum sql.
Owen Hall
If you are not part of the hiring/interview team then you have no say in the matter.
Otherwise: -don't hire POCs -don't hire fags -no yids of course -don't hire women
Now you are not allowed to discriminate protected groups in burgerland, but you can discriminate on the basis of politics or ideology. Check the social media history of applicants to weed out lefties and SJWs.
Anthony Walker
You are in luck, as the market is full with wonderful inclusive ex journalists willing to give coding a try!
Isaac Watson
Your firm will most likely hire Parjeets as (((Trump))) reneged on one of his campaign promises and is happy to do the bidding of Corporate America whilst at the same time they shill for policies that call for the demographic replacement of white American’s.
Chase Turner
Because of the lower barrier of entry. But you're fine with typescript, I guess.
Kayden Rivera
Javascript is a low energy, low effort language.
C and C++ on the other hand, needs proper form and structure to work, but once it does it’s fast and rock solid.
Jason Cooper
You can also discriminate against skill. Just say that you require 5 years of experience for every position. Classic tactic over here. Every entry level position for software development requires 3-5 so they either hire someone qualified to do the work or someone they think they can train to be a good employee.
Adrian Allen
Microsoft people tend to be older and less likely to be commiefags but even that is starting to change. And idk they just are: webdev is easy and these type of people tend to look for easy jobs because they're not really that intellegent.
Robert Morales
Pft. Good luck.
Sebastian Sanchez
>I'm looking for advice on where to look for talent I wouldn't trust a company moving here from Germany to be less PC/SJW than anything found on the west coast. You will attract zero talent. Enjoy your office full of poos.
Kayden Green
>Microsoft people tend to be older and less likely to be commiefags which MS campus would you be familiar with because this doesn't match up with the several I have visited.
Matthew Carter
Js developers are generally front end / web developers or designers. It's easier to get into so less logical people can do it. There are js developers that are creating node applications and writing good code, but the vast vast majority of people that 'know' JavaScript write the most aweful fucking garbage you can possibly imagine. I take that back, it's worse than you can imagine, you will open a file and just sit and wonder for 10 minutes, then have to go for a long walk.
Typescript will be a bit different maybe. It really kind of depends if the person has an engineering degree or not ( there are rare occasions where a person has taught themselves how to write good code).
So to your original question the culture of the workplace will vary from company to company and teams to teams. I have worked in places that had a 'bro' culture but was respectful of women and a transgender person. We called 'her' by her girl name. We also called someone a fucking moron for using 'child - parent' instead is 'slave - master' as he felt 'slave-master' was insensitive. This was all at a smaller consulting firm.
My feeling is that if you have to deal with lots of sjw B's then it's a matter of dies the company have the resources to survive that cancer. Can you transfer to a different area of the company? Sjw culture is never productive, evenually that team will be replaced.
Zachary Harris
Just do a full social media scan of any potential hire. They're really bad at hiding who they are.
I'm the one hiring and I can probably even have an influence as to where we're going to be located. So as long as there is a large enough minority of suitable talent out there and I know how to get them, I should be fine.
I was also thinking that maybe I could get people by letting them know that we're sort of a refuge of bro-culture, but I'm not sure how I'd go about doing that without making myself and the company a target for sjws.
Brandon Lopez
>wants to employ in the USA >learns about diversity quota >now has to employ roasties and niggers >not one of them is capable of doing their fucking job >suddendly picture of gets posted in twitter >#metoo >angry mob oft women and leftist come after you >business tanks, lose customers, then everything falls apart > family and friends in germany pay for flight ticket >come home son.jpg >leave for Airport >get shot by former black employe who waited for you >die in pain while hearing nigger saying >"i am da boss nao"
Cameron Rivera
I dont think yore gonna find any redpilled people who writes JS. Its full of soiboys who do that numale fear smile with open mouth.
Oliver Hughes
I dont mean people that work at Microsoft persay as I've never been to one of their shops. I mean people that use .net and ts as he mentioned.
Matthew Clark
What I have done is start with a technical interview. Not necessarily code challenges but theory and how would you solve 'x' problem. Maybe a few detailed questions.
Second interview is all largely personality and maybe general attitude towards work and and problems and challenges. By this point I already know they are technically qualified, I'm just looking for fit and attitude... And appearance. Did this person shit up in a hoodie or did they at least wear business casual? Could they run a 5k in a reasonable amount of time, or have they avoided exercise and sports their entire life.
Different states in the u.s. have different labor laws. Some states are called 'right to work states' which really means "we can fire you for any reason we want'. The size of your company does have some bearing as it will be a bigger target for law suits.
Bentley Cooper
kek. quite accurate.
Andrew Miller
dont hire niggers, faggots, leftists, trannies or soibois make friends with like political views and find those who r qualified that arent what i listed. u will b fine
Adrian Stewart
That is the oldest trick in the book. I'm pretty sure asp.net/entity framework projects are immune to sql injection by default.
All the soiboys use chromium to write software, that's the hip thing now, like spotify and vscode.
>dont hire niggers, faggots, leftists, trannies or soibois Say goodbye to any government contracts, then.
Daniel Mitchell
>Say goodbye to any government contracts, then. Do they require this in their contracts? Or it's happens manually, meaning by just observing your company hiring trends etc.
Kayden Mitchell
It's not "required" per se, but it is "encouraged." By "encouraged," I mean that if a company has 50% or more minority ownership, they get first pick of government contracts/subsidies. Of course, Niggers are too stupid to realize this and get a government issued loan to start a business to absorb the slush, so what ends up happening is they get dressed up in suits and paraded around by all our "diverse" corporations. In short, our government wants white men dead and gone.
Jaxson Perez
have fun with your street shitters and women, this is the fate you chose. fucking idiot
Cooper Hernandez
HR does require minority hiring practices
Xavier Roberts
What a truly toxic working environment. It must be maddening in the long run to always having to calculate your moves/actions in order to appease the PC cult. >t. junior code monkey that works online with other 5 based Greeks. Only males, zero toxicity, max productivity.
Matthew Davis
Did you go to uni? Is it viable to get a job as a code monkey without a degree?
Luis Cox
Every ex Microsoft person I know is incredibly indoctrinated. Also, the company itself and the way it uses its money seems pozzed beyond belief.
Carter Edwards
Sponsor my visa instead.
Gavin Johnson
no cs degree. Some will surely discriminate against you for not having a cs degree. Others don't give a flying fuck if you can do what they want you to build. In general I'd say that it's not really worth it unless you are sure you want to go down that path. I've met people that got into the 'learn to code' meme just due to the industry (on average) paying good but eventually lost interest or were intimidated out of it. You must be ok to be seen as inferior by other cs degree holders etc. I was more or less interested in coding since I was a kid (using pseudo-coding in gamemakers etc), so for me it was more natural. If you really like it, then you can start learning online. Keep grinding your skills until you have some legit projects to show to potential employees.
Gavin White
HR requires it because the business requires it. The business requires it because it's "encouraged" by the gubbamint.
Cameron Howard
>To avoid expensive audits from the EEOC, US corporations typically try to hire a workforce that looks like their area; if the general population in town is 30% African American, then showing that your staff is 29% African American is a good way to shrink the time EEOC spends with your HR team, and a defense against lawsuits.
Leo Murphy
Yikes, even more encouragement I didn't know about.
Wyatt Evans
The currebt situation is far worse in your country than mine. People may shame you fot certain opinions but at least we dont get thrown in prison unlike you
Tyler Anderson
>hire American staff You mean pajeets? >Where to look for talent Nowhere to be honest. Anyone that isn't indoctrinated just has to play along and pretty much hide lest they want a career change.
