They didn’t all testify to the same thing. It took over 10 years before there was a semi coherent story. And they were highly motivated to make up whatever they wanted. Being a holocaust survivor meant money, fame, and social status. It’s like how current victim culture leads to 150% of ugly feminists being brutally raped. Mass hysteria is a thing, which is why I looked for physical evidence of the holocaust, which magically all vanished or only reappeared on the Soviet side of the border 10 years later.

they all testified about the sick, old, and very young being separated after the trains arrived, and then never seeing their loved ones again, not sure how you can make that up, wouldn't be too hard to see if their siblings or parents were still alive.
there are document memos from ss officers mentioning gassing, there is the goebbels diary where he mentions hitlers decision to exterminate the jews, there are thousands of photos of bodies, there are the german train schedules showing arrivals to aushwitz and the other camps on a 24 hour basis. the germans had it down to a science.
