Actually... even the famous "inbreeding" problem is completely overdone. To explain briefly: Most serious problems that come from "Who the parents are" comes from our chromosomes. You receive half of 'em from each of your parents and there's a lot of things that could go wrong but there's two primary ones that summarize most of 'em; (A) Were they defect when you recieved them (from your parent(s) in other words) OR; (B) If you recieve two near-identical ones. The first one is more or less random but also can be summed up into the pool of other genetic diseases that run in your family. However the second one, to receive two near-identical ones, that's usually the only problem in incest. HOWEVER... they are only inherented from Parent-Kid relationships and not Sibling-Sibling relationships... unless you count identical twins because that's the only way they have the same ones. Basically... the 'risk'-factor of having a kid with your sister/brother only goes up by somewhere along 0.5-2.0%. If you have a parent-kid offspring then it goes up to over 50% and the same thing applies if there's a second generation of Incest. The first generation of it is 99/100 times completely fine and that one time is usually just as likely if not more likely to have been caused by random mutations, but gets blamed on incest. So... even the 'inbreeding'-argument is actually quite wrong. Having a kid with your sister/brother is not a big deal unless they in turn also have a kid with their sister/brother.?
