Transgender adults can only prove their validity if there are children who are trans since childhood. If you look it up, most children with gender dysphoria or are "nonconforming" grow up to be bisexual or homosexual, rather than a tranny. Telling kids they are valid transgender kids and feeding their discomforts is homophobic and also abusive to children.
Why shouldn't adults have the choice to transition? Sure, they can ruin their bodies, but a lot of them are trying to manipulate the sciences in the name of social justice.
There are some transgenders who do not think they actually changed/can change genders. They usually say they are a transgender/transsexual male or female, meaning that they are a male or female that has attempted as much as possible to change to the other sex.
It takes common sense to know you cant change sex. Gender is immaterial, if it is separated from sex, but sex is not. Sure you can change your gender if gender is not sex, which would mean gender wouldn't be real. Sure you can change that. Taking hormones and getting invasive surgery does not change the fact that you manipulated yourself to MIMIC the other sex, but they cannot install a womb, install testicles that can produce sperm, or change chromosomes and bone structure so a sex change is never truly complete, yet.
