I’ve heard this argument often, but what are the actual reasons?

Women don't give a fuck about politics. They think it's a cute responsible thing to do rather than a critical duty that needs knowledge and forethought to complete with due diligence. They will always vote for whoever promises them something that a man would have to earn.

I'd say more than half of men shouldnt vote tbqh. There should be some kind of test involved, or citizenship should be earned rather than born into.

Universal suffrage is cancer. If you're going to vote for what happens in your country you should prove your responsibility to said country. In the U.S you as a man are required to sign up for the draft. Women are exempt, because vagina. Women also get to vote for what happens with tax payer money, despite receiving more in benefits and returns than taxes they actually pay. Rights are to be equal to responsibility for any country to thrive. The U.S was never intended to be a full democracy, but rather a republic. Also since women have gotten the right to vote, almost immediately government spending skyrocketed and we now have a welfare state.

They should. They're just slightly more left leaning since it's the mainstream opinion and they're less disagreeable, and generally the message is very pro woman on the left explicitly. The problem we have is once certain types get into government, they increase non-jobs, or expand the government, creating a voter base. Besides, why should people have a say in the running of a country, when they have no stake in it. People with a family will think of their family first, and that's the foundation on which to build. The number of men needing to vote needs to be around 33. The public doesn't need to have a say in everything.
