I've never been arrested but grew up poor, worked very hard and got into a world famous uni then lucked into lots (but not a ridiculous amount of money) from bitcoin.
You get treated COMPLETELY differently, it's honestly disgusting. Anyway it's not cause they're famous it's cause they're either important or friends with someone important.
Whoever is helping him get big likely has a lot of connections and can kick up a big fuss, so it's not worth dealing with it. Also you can't piss off the upper class too much cause simply be leaving the country you have a huge negative ffect. This guy probably doesn't realise it, but most of them (including his manager) do and the government are careful to avoid annoying you too much. Just look at bezos, even though he dodges tax all the time he still contributes a huge amount.

I don't think it would apply so strongly in small towns, cause at least in muttland they don't seem as obsessed with status. For a small town I'd guess the best way to get that sort of treatment is through becoming "famous" through charity worked and getting liked by everyone.
But as for your question, yeah the standards wouldn't be as high. It's VERY important to note that "success" to get the special treatment isn't defined by how much you make. Basically you must be able to retire right now AND then have as many of the following
>prestigious university
>prestigious career
>successful business
>started from nothing
>important family
>confidence
>class (in the uk it's hugely taboo to "flex" like the rappers do)
It's in general but don't get obsessed with it as it's near impossible to do this young, and if you do (like I did) it requires extreme luck and extreme hard work. It can also make you a real piece of shit.

Good lawyers yes, but understand that the criminal justice system is incestuous. Judges who used to be lawyers that know other defense lawyers who know prosecutors who know police. Its all one big capitalistic circle jerk. Even if you have a bad case, poor people don't have the money to file for appeals. Poor people don't have the money to hire private investigators to look up dirt or find loopholes. Poor people don't have the money to hire expert witnesses to punch holes in the prosecution's case. The justice system isn't about facts, its about perception. If you're a rich, good looking white guy with lots of money your chances of getting away with a crime are infinitely better than some poor brown guy stuck with a shitty, overworked public defender.

my sibling did some bad shit. not felony level but I know he was around people who went to jail but he never did. and I also realize my grandfather was a politician and my uncle a laywer and these people are well connected. he got in trouble but never any jail like the others.

A good lawyer has connections; expert witnesses, private investigators, judges, prosecutors. They're able to put together defenses and strategize with resources that regular lawyers don't. They have the time, staffing and resources to to file appeals, search for loopholes, typos, or holes in the case and introduce all sorts of motions that can significantly slow a case down for prosecutors and make their job more difficult. The difference is night and day. Additionally, prosecutors are more likely to go for plead down when they know that if they don't a really good lawyer is going to do everything they can to slow the case down and be a giant pain in their ass.

I hope I can get off probation early or something im not technically sentenced yet but I dont think there's much I can do and my state gives the same punishment for any crime its years of probation for literally any crime and its the standard no more or less. I think maybe they can get you one year less or something but this is a small town like I said. no pull no jesus lawyers nothing. maybe a really good lawyer could get it lowered to unsupervised probation or something
