More people voted for the Republican John Cox in my county than for Trump in 2016. A lot of the whites in this state are old moderates, and a lot of the young ones are radical progressives. And we're exporting them to your state.

I think the Congress has to choose to allocate a certain way. Because Republicans need less than a million House votes to retake the House, it means the Dems can either choose to fight for the presidency or fight to keep the House, but they won't have the money to do both.

Also another reminder- Dems will be forced to openly run on opposition to electoral reform because it fucks up california. But electoral reform benefits pennsylvania, michigan, wisconsin, virginia, new hampshire etc.
So basically they can choose to attempt to win 2020, or they can choose to lose twice as hard and get raped in the electoral college as well.
I mean if they run on opposing electoral reform, most of the swing states are going hard Republican anyway and even some lighter blue states like CT will probably shift 5-10 points towards Trump. They have nothing to gain but more californian votes, but the EC means fraudulent popular vote means nothing.
