Because explaining American history is really difficult when we have so much mythology surrounding it.

Imagine instead of learning about the tea party, Lexington and Concord, or Valley Forge, we spent hours detailing the political climate of individual counties, from the north to the south. Graphing the trend towards patriotism or loyalism, and how it correlated to slave ownership. After that, we'd have to figure out exactly how many of these traitors didn't fuck off to Canada after they lost, and their family lineage. And totally ignoring the War of 1812, we'd have to nitpick the implementation of the ban on African Importation, and which countries around the world abolished slavery in what order.

It's too much for some people, and by the time people are mature enough to learn about what happened to African slaves everywhere but America, they're busy worrying about how to face adulthood.

It seems to be that Americans are trying their hardest to love you but it's pretty difficult since you just can't stop bitching and whining like the worthless niggers that you are.

less than a million soldiers died in the civil war and most of that was due to disease.
white people left the cities when blacks moved into town. the resultant decay exemplifies why whites moved out.
