I draw every panel on an individual sheet of paper, I try to do each panel at least twice the size it will appear in the printed version -though my scanner sometimes limits me in this respect

The typeface used in the comic is an original one designed by a friend of mine- I like the look of it but it takes a fuckload of kerning when setting it.

Again, there are more re-used assets throughout the book than i would prefer- but I had deadlines for events selling the printed copies to consider.

That Rose Window (hint hint) took me two fucking weeks. It was all done by hand in pencil. I used a compass, I used a square, I used a protractor, I did everything right. When it came time to do the outlines in felt marker I didnt have a steady enough hand. fucking ruined, I had to go into adobe illustrator and recreate the shapes.

The top panel of this page is a good example of the flexibility that photoshop affords. the marching soldiers, the standing soldiers and the country were all drawn separately and then assembled. this allowed me to make them large enough to get the detail I wanted and still scan them

We're really getting into it now. A page like this with a predominantly dark background is something that takes a lot of photoshop editing. after I put all the work in to the edge quality of the figures and furniture I am wary about piling on the black to make a dark bg. polygonal lasso is essential.

funny story about this page: This image actually started out as an assignment in art school. I had a class in my final semester called Erotic Illustration. for the final we all got to choose and illustrate a fetish. mine was HYPNOSIS.

Here’s very early in the drawing provess

in page 3, the blowjob reveal. there are two curtains, one looks dark one looks white. this is a reference to Jachin and Boaz - the two pillars that held up Solomons temple. a classic piece of freemasonic imagery. seen here on the High Priestess tarot card

I think it would be unfair to solve the final code page for you, but it’s a substitution cypher and not some crazy maths
sadly this particular ESOTERIC SECRET didnt come off in either the 150 DPI web version or the printed physical version- so heres the high res 300dpi
But they also smell sickly sweet and that fucking voice. The milkers hardly make up for it. Either way, I don't want to see a naked kikess.
And if you're taking all criticism- She doesn't strike me as the clean shaven type, especially not in the 90's. Also, that's a way better figure than Lewinsky had. Make her pudgier.
yeah those are all fair points, and yes monica was no doubt pudgier than i made her in this comic- if i had it to do again I would have chosen better reference models.
in school they taught us not to just copy from a single reference photo, but to use our knowledge of figure drawing to assemble multiple images to the pose / lighting we wanted.
For monica in this issue i used Dacrie Dolce as my reference model

this is a good example of the use of white ink
that only comes out when something got fucked up. you can go back over the white with black, but it behaves completely differently than the regular paper
