I freely concede that the present banking system (Fed) is flawed in terms of accountability/ownership and public demand for transparency, but that's an issue that has to be tackled on its own. I'm just saying that Nixon's realistic options at the time were limited, many other countries had already gone over to fiat due to inflexibilities in the gold standard (liquidity issues). We don't really disagree on the rest, though. It's the flawed nature of the US political system that kikes exert so much power over the political process (AIPAC etc) and allows unchecked financial interests to run riot.
