Anglo isn't a place it's a state of mind. Most of America isn't Anglo. Some places are but it was infiltrated by Germans and Spanish so it's a reflection of that mindset. The East Coast and the Northwestern Pacific Coasts states like Washington are still Anglo. Florida, for example, was never really Anglo. They just bent the knee and continued by crypto-Spaniards.

True. Sorry if I offended you. Most of it isn't though. The point I was trying to make is that there are specific areas around the US of A that have different characteristics. So, it's not enough to say move to USA for Anglo life. You have to be specific about areas, like the panhandle.

It depends on the state you are talking about. In 1865 most people were probably completely English with a small bit of Scots perhaps, but things have changed a bit.
For one, South Louisiana was always completely French.
In Texas, Arkansas and North Louisiana most people from the state are descended from settlers going west, so there are probably some people there that are majority Scots. At the very least, most of the Anglos have a bit of Scots in them. In Mississippi most of the English left the state completely so the people that live there are there Celtic slaves. Lots of blondish-red hair and round heads. Lots of niggers too, and the combination of the Scots and Niggers made the English all leave.
There were also a small amount of French Jews in the south. After the Civil War lots of yankees moved south so some people are descended from them too. They could be anything but mostly English or German I would guess.
One more thing. Appalachia like east Tennessee or west North Carolina are majority scots irish
