Playing Skyrim in VR right now. My paladins first name is Pol (mace&shield, heavy armour, restoration & alteration). Not done much yet (level 10) but I chased those redguards (Kematu’s gang of crips) up a tree with his iron sword of cowardice and fixed the gildergreen before, just last night, joining the Dawnguard. He’s one hell of a guy who will be contracting lycanthropy reluctantly just long enough to burst the vampire lords before curing himself and then that’s when he solves the empires problem by killing them all and their crappy elf masters and ruling the empire directly himself from high rock as it should be done after the game when he’s beat Alduin. He’s righteous and a Breton (like Tiber Septim) and pissed off with evil so much he hits it over the head for fun because that’s how I’d like to solve evil too.
Right. Getting back to it. I have decided he’s going to use a two handed hammer as well as his mace and maybe robes of restoration instead of armour later on, just with helmet, boots and gauntlets. His fave God is Kynareth and he likes thunder. He has never sneaked, stolen or used doubtful magics, if there is a threat he runs out of the gates of Whiterun and smashes it in the face with his shield, shouts it down, and pisses in its face.

Even when I first played that game I realised Dagoth-Ur literally did nothing wrong and was betrayed by the Tribunal Jews. I never finished the Main Quest so I could spare Dagoth and I went off to kill all the Tribunal instead.
