I would agree with that. I feel the people that got Fashpilled by alt-right and the Fascist who went into it OG felt that leaders like Spencer first of all didn't have see the importance of having a more solid ideological foundation other than the 14 words (which is huge and important and all, but Fascism is a lot more than that). Also I know Fascists who felt like Spencer dove into Charlottesville without a clear public ready platform to present other than the confronting image of tikie torches etc.
When it comes to the 14 words you really need to have some ideas to present like peaceful separation and the creation of ethnostates, black in the south (Mississippi & Alabama) and White in Fashcadia (Northwest Front). Otherwise people think you want to go full Atomwaffen on everyone's asses.
I would say the Alt-right was more of a short-lived test to see if you could get the various segments of the extreme right to work together, in which case I would see it as a success but it demonstrated that the current state of the US still isn’t ready for the ascendance of an extreme right. So, until then there is still going to be factional disputes among NFW and Siegefags, PaganLARPers and Christcucks, Nat-Soc's and Traditional Fascista. Ultimately, we are still all united by the 14.
