My guess is that Trump wins a second term.

My reasons:
1. The democratic party cannot ever fully embrace its own genuine form of populism because it is a capitalist party. This means that the candidates it runs will always be less sincere in their populist beliefs than Trump (or any other right-wing populist) would be.
2. Historically, presidents get a second term.
3. The base of the democratic party distrusts democrat politicians far more than the base of the republican party distrusts republican politicians. This, again, goes back to the democrats' inability to follow through on their promises.

The only thing that might change this is a crash happening before 2020, which is somewhat likely. If that happens, the republican candidate is probably screwed, no matter who he is.
