Some other user had a good post on the version of this thread posted a week or two ago, which came down to the fact that American culture has historically been a duality between whites and blacks, so other minorities, being unable to / rejected from assimilating into the white majority, defaulted to the "black" identity

Always wondered this as well. I'm American, not Jap. Grew up in California and Mexicans hated blacks yet copied their fashion, slang, music, gang banging, virtually everything. Flips did the same. Truly embarrassing to imitate the worst culture in the US but they did so and then turned around and called blacks niggers.
Wiggers are the same. I knew a guy who grew up in the hood and he walked, talked, dressed and acted ghetto as heel but in when he was around white people he always talked about how much he hated niggers. The man was a negro golem but never put 2 and 2 together.
