In college I put it to my tutor that maybe psychopaths could be an evolutionary step forward in many ways due to the extremely high number of economically successful people that are high on the scale. Being that wealth and power is what our society is geared towards they could be the next stepping stone in our mental evolution.

I’m honestly not sure if I am or not. I definitely have psychopathic tendencies, it works well for my setting in a megacorp conglomerate office where people get stabbed in the back all the time. I’m doing very well, I trust nobody etc etc.
I still do feel emotions of joy, frustration, stress so I suppose I am not a real psychopath. I think that my mind is so analytically focused that removing my own perspective from a situation and evaluating risks and opportunities has played so much to my advantage that my brain has subconsciously adopted this mindset 24/7. I do not get emotionally attached to anybody, but I also get relatively bored with the material world and like to socialize with people to have a good time.
