In the early 1930's, during Germany Economic boom, and after the separation of Austria from the Germans, a militia formed inside Austria. This group consisted of roughly 200,000 Polish, French, and now Austrian Jews. Hitler saw the Austrian people as rightful German Citizens, and vowed to claim Austria back for Germany, not by force, but by purchase. Germany was desired to be so rich, they could buy Austria back.
Because Germany was prospering so much, Hitler allowed these Austrian-Germany citizens to travel for work, aka, a Work Visa, as we call them today. This allowed them to cross over, go to work, and return to Austria, very wealthy. While the rest of Europe starved, some were living a life of lavish luxury thanks to Hitlers work visa program. This was designed to as a "hold on, we haven't forgotten you" type deal.
Well, Jews do what Jews do best, and Jewed a bunch of Austrians. Started small, with beatings, rapes, robberies. Until in 1934 a group of militant jews claimed their first life.
Hitler was now pissed. And for 4 more years these attacks continued on Austrian-German citizens.
