Yes, I believe so. I went to an Eritrean wedding... it was so fun, and the women there had dignity. Since they have successful people in their community, these ones made a community center for them with their own money, and it is used a lot for meetings and weddings. I was told by the Eritrean I know that it’s a custom of some of their women to stay in the home and take care of it as a mark of pride. Apparently, they have a tradition where the hand feed the husband a bite of the food they make and ask if it’s good for him. They really do look down on many African-Americans in the ghettos for being lazy and violent.
