Willing to bet shekels that a government office somewhere decided that even though his mechanic's report said the brakes were three years past replacement, the money would be better spent on a six-figure Christmas bonus for herself and told the mechanic to shut up or face legal action. >t. Buses also frequently break down and just sit at a stop waiting for maintenance, drivers are poorly disciplined and you'll often find yourself sitting on an idling bus for 15-25 minutes because when they switch drivers for some reason they need to have long talks about their kids and their weekends. When parts break on the buses, drivers will often just kick it until it starts working again.
