1) The demographic shift is far worse here. Our population density is slowly moving North, and we are on the way to being outnumbered. Now I know you might say it's my job to change this, but think about the environment my children would be raised in if I were not in an all white community. I think it's more about blood, culture, and origin. American/state pride is so shallow. It has no basis in the people anymore. Any white culture that was formed here was crumbling away before I was even born. The only thing linking most whites here is class and a religion that isn't even truly ours. I can't fully explain the feeling I had while I was there, or why it is still so vivid in my mind. All I know is that I felt truly at home and I was at peace for a while.
