He seemed to have an authoritarian and socialist streak in him. He wanted to eventually run against FDR with Father Coughlin but he was murdered by a Jew. Any other similar politicians? Probably. At the very least we would have stayed out of it. If he had been elected early enough he might have even prevented the whole thing, his foreign policy would have never given Stalin the impression that America would help the USSR, and likely would have convinced the Japanese that America wouldn't get in the way of their expansion. At a minimum he would have never fought against the Nazis on the side of Communists.
