You guys ever read Wittgenstein?
You guys ever read Wittgenstein?
that depends, did the duck or the rabbit cross the road?
The duck and the rabbit are one.
no they are not, they are quite distinct categories. It's the mind of the onlooker that has difficulties to differentiate them, that's his whole point with the use of the image. His inference is, that reality is a construct of our perception of the world. Yet also that construction is externally imposed upon us by our language, which sets invisible limits to which we are unaware of.
lmao. I wasn't serious.
Which one do you like most, early or later wittgenstein?
> Most arguments can be avoided by a simple definition of terms.
Wittgenstein is correct and would see through the SJWs in seconds.
He doesn't pass my jewshit filter.
a little bit. don't remember it all too much desu.
have you ever read any of his work on the foundations of mathematics? apparently he considered that some of his most important work
No joke, I actually made it through the Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus in the original German when I studied in NYC. Some parts are interesting from a pure logic point of view, many parts I didn’t crasp and some parts I disagree with (and understood).
Read his private correspondence after the war. It's standard bitter Austrian war vet writing. e.g. the German speaking regions should unite as a political block, etc. Proto-anschulss stuff. You will NEVER hear about this at the University when they discuss him.
Are you Jewish?
the final redpill
>have you ever read any of his work on the foundations of mathematics?
I had a book of his on philosophy of mathematics that I have no idea where it ended up lmao.
>he thinks the Tractatus is that hard
It isn't. Did you like what he said about mysticism and the ineffable?

That kid really looks like Adolf Hitler but the other kid doesn't look like Wittgenstein at all. This might have happened, but how are we going to know for sure?
Well they certainly went to the same school so it's a fair bet
Two lads went to the same school?
>stein
Read Tractatus 4 years ago; it changed my life. Went from a neet to a somebody. I’m still suicidal at times. Things changed too quickly. Whining aside, Wittgenstein was/is the real deal. Reading his work can give you clarity, structure, and purpose.
Based and redpilled, friend. The Tractatus was the book that influenced my thought the most. It's almost like I was a blind brainlet before the stimulating reading of the Tractatus.
didn't he lose his shit and beat his pupils in a rage frenzy?
what a colossal autist
T B H kids deserve to be beaten
Well, his tomb is right behind my home. I have read that.
only by their own parents or do you want some scoliotic german to beat your kids for you?
They went to the same school but in different years. He paid Hitler to avoid him sending his family to concentration camps.
nah that's for the goyim. he probably diddled the boys, too. almost certainly he was a diddler
I climbed his ladder then kicked it away.
Now I am become Life
I would love to see his take on all this modern "confusion" and intellectual regression.
he never commentated on culture to a significant degree. correct me if you can, but he's always talking about more "pure" thought
