Contrary to popular belief, Gender Dysphoria is not something like homosexuality, where you are born with or without it. Gender Dysphoria is a temporary, environment-caused mental illness. Per se a male who has very negative experiences with his fellow male peers as a child will have a much higher chance of becoming gender dysphoric than a male who has positive or neutral experiences with his fellow male peers.
My primary evidence comes from the masses of transgenders committing suicide post operation. It infers that they regret their decision to become a transgender after learning that they were meant to be what they were assigned with.

I think people here direct their hate wrongly at transgendered people instead of at the people who encourage them to inflict permanent damage on their own bodies for social gain. Sure, if they're being assholes about it then fuck them, but people with dysphoria need to be encouraged to seek proper aid rather than rush into hormone therapy and eventually mutilate themselves. The people doing the real harm here are the ones telling these people to transition despite the high suicide rate, the high correlation between transitioning and other mental disorders, the fact that transgendered people make up such an extreme minority, etc.
I wouldn't shun one of my friends for addiction, or any other mental disorder that pops up. I'd make sure they had someone to talk to, and that they were getting the help they actually need. Being transgender used to be the same thing as having gender dysphoria. But what they found out was a lot of trans people didn't have dysphoria, but had other disorders, the most common being narcissistic personality disorder (showing in the majority of trans women in one study). Others have a sexual disorder called autophilia.
So, the people with legit dysphoria can't really control it and I have some sympathy, but not for the others who do it for other reasons.
I personally don't trust those brain studies claiming to see such differences. Every brain is different. Also the conclusion from the referenced study could also be that if there are in fact such differences then they could simply be a brain development syndrom causing transgender (just like stuttering)
Everyone has to cope with biological reality. Short men wish they could be taller. Dumb people wish they could be smarter. Ugly people wish they could be more attractive. Some things can be fixed (plastic surgery) some things cannot.
It isn't that much of a stretch for someone to be dissatisfied with their biological sex. However, the issue is how your respond to perceived shortcomings. The best way to go about things is to live life with the hand you are delt, don't worry about what's not in your control and deal with the fact that not everything is perfect. The way out that trannies take is to mutilate their sexual organs, fuck up their body chemistry, and demand that everyone treat them like they're a woman even if they look, sound, and act like a man in makeup and a dress.

The problem, sadly, is much more widespread in academia than this. The trannyisms are just a symptom of a much larger and more ingrained disease. Allowing the victors of WW2 to politicize science in the way that was done, could really only end this way. Now we're seeing a huge swath of established sciences veering into obvious error, while the new ones who pop up are more akin to ideological quasi-religions than anything resembling actual sciences.
I disagree with you that any solution is to support these TERFs, because in themselves they are mostly as insane and deluded as the trannies, only on the other side of the fence. A real solution would be to return to rationalism, but I don't see any resurgence of such ideals on the horizon.

I'd say perhaps the opposite approach is better and easier, to actually subvert the idea of "gender" as you would say in English into having it mean "sex." Thankfully I was too occupied most of the time with school to really get into thinking about becoming a full time tranny. Also back then western media wasn't pushing this "progressive" agenda, so there was no way I would be exposed to it considering where I live. So there was nothing enabling it and plenty of rational thinking on my part combating it. Funnily enough it started to fade and completely disappear when I started going to the gym to train my strength (I was weak and skinnyfat). When my upper body started to look real manly, and this may sound like it's coming from a narcissist, I really begun to enjoy looking like that. I don't hate trannies now, but I do look down on them for allowing something to beat their rational thinking. Okay maybe I hate them.
