>The man whose family is at the centre of a measles outbreak in Vancouver said he didn't vaccinate his children because he distrusted the science at the time. In an exclusive interview with CBC News, Emmanuel Bilodeau said he and his then-wife were influenced by reports that linked the vaccine that prevents measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) with autism.
>"We worried 10-12 years ago because there was a lot of debate around the MMR vaccine," said Bilodeau. "Doctors were coming out with research connecting the MMR vaccine with autism. So we were a little concerned."
>The MMR vaccine prevents measles, mumps and rubella by helping the body make chemicals called antibodies to fight off the viruses. The BC Centre for Disease Control (CDC) recommends children receive two doses of the vaccine, one at 12 months of age and the second dose at five to six years of age.
>"We're not anti-vaccination," he said. "We're just very cautious parents and we just tried to do it in the manner that was the least invasive possible on the child's health."
>"We were hoping we could find a vaccine that was given in a separate shot so it wasn't such a hit on the kid," he said.
ILLGAL IMMIGRANTS ARE THE CAUSE OF THE OUTBREAKS NOT ANTI VAXXERS
Sebastian Wood
This. Why is the media pushing the anti-vax narrative so hard, when "we clearly don't have a crisis at the border"? Yeah, explain the whole 'spontaneous' rise in mumps at the border....
Mason Wood
The vaccines are the cause. We've debilitated our defenses. If everybody didn't take them it would be different. You're almost forced to simply because of population dynamics. But get a bad dose and a fucked up kid and you'll know what time it is.
Henry Rodriguez
Why are they blaming anti-vaxers for this? Most places in the world stopped giving measles vaccines for a long time, because there was no need for it and it was expensive.
Blame immigrants and poor screening for this. Even public schools used to screen for diseases, now they don't. There is a reason for control of migration and it's mostly to contain diseases that would cause major harm like this.
Jordan Myers
top kek he did his part to stem the tide of Jow Forums like a good (goyim) citizen

Bad batches of the MMR vaccines in the 1970s lead to a measles outbreak in the late 1980s (in the United States).
Just saying.
Nolan Cruz
I forgot to mention, a small portion of the population goes unvaccinated due to being deathly allergic to one, or more, of the vaccines. So there will always be “anti-vaxxers”.
Cameron Watson
Yep. Measles was eradicated here for decades before Obama "Open Borders" cuckface Soetoro let in unlimited illegal aliens.
Benjamin Walker
>We're just very cautious parents then why on earth would you travel to Southeast Asia
Daniel Taylor
Imagine believing the CBC.
Tyler Hernandez
the reddit anti anti vaccers are spreading
William Adams
This is getting pushed with an agenda. This week, facebook were getting targeted for not clamping down on anti-vax shit. Now they are apparently getting urgent regulation.
Brayden Barnes
well, as long as he takes responsibility and pays for all the medical expenses of everyone else who fell victim because of his decision. I mean, he is going to do this, right?
Aiden Murphy
MOLYNEUX?!

>anti vaccers son get measles from south east asia >Somehow it's his sons not getting vaccines that is the problem

>mfw I realise biggest portion of polacks are vaccinated >autism causation confirmed
I hope everyone in hollywood dies of contagious disease. Based anti-vaxxers.
Justin Nelson
The Father is a shitty person for putting his kids and country at risk of some third world disease
Brayden Johnson
Anything with this much of a media push behind it is bound to be bad. I'm just overly sensitive to being manipulated. I don't like it, so I tend to do the opposite of what the manipulators want. You guys enjoy injecting your kids with a bunch of shit that you can't even pronounce. I'll just be over here living in the woods and waiting for the news that vaccines are conclusively tied to autism rates going up. We'll be drinking well water and eating home grown vegetables, meats, and eggs. If my ancestors didn't need vaccines, neither do me or my kids.
Joseph Hughes
Refusing mass immigration also makes intuitive sense, but they wont do that..
Carson Lopez
>We’re just very cautious parents Why the fuck would you go to disease ridden South east Asia then? Even if you’re vaccinated there’s probably some strains different enough to the ones vaccinated against that they can do some damage due to the conditions and disease spread of some of the rural areas
Dominic Perez
They get vaccinated you absolute fuckjng retard

OH THIS ONE SINGLE POST CONFIRMED ALL OF MY MISGUIDED PREJUDICES.
you zoomers are sooooooooooooooooo redpilled!
Sebastian Howard
This will work out so brilliantly when they start coming after all the 1488 Jow Forumslacks MUH vaccine induced autism and facism >mfw my parents vaccinated me is a legal defense
You can safely have children after 35, but the problem is most women over 35 are fat, diabetic, sedentary cows who eat nothing but garbage full of sugar, then wash it down with a starbucks milkshake twice a day. It's the health of the mother, not the age.
Leo James
Israel sterlizes its undesirable population through vaccines, tldr being skeptical of the contents of vaccines is anti-semitic.
What costs are those? Unless you're a retard or you have a vanishingly rare complication, you don't need to go to the doctor for measles.
Even in 1963 prior to the vaccine's release, only 1 in 100,000 died in the US, and only 1 in 50,000 had neurological complications.
The problem with current medicine is people being so fucking scared of nothing diseases that they run to the doctor whenever they get the sniffles, infecting everyone else in the process. There are assloads of studies showing that the vaccinated can be infected either acutely or subclinically, and continue to spread either the wild or vaccine strain indiscriminately.
Fucking retarded people, I swear. Oh fucking noes, STATE OF EMERGENCY! Stupid ass niggers ....
Brody Gomez
Normally I'm all for vaccines and I have them all but I'm very worried about this strong media push about vaccinations.
I believe it's likely that current vaccines are perfectly fine but once they get compulsory vaccination laws in effect they'll pull some Jewish trickery with new vaccines which might have some sneaky purpose like a DNA specific virus or simply mineral addictives that in certain amounts that selectively lowers but not eliminates the iq or fertility of white people.
If they were planning on doing it then this would be the best way to go about it for sure.
Christian Butler
The more they push this the more suspicious I become.
Kill them all anti vaxxers are worse than the Jewiest Jew
Joseph Lewis
This is some Darwin Award type shit.
I hope all these anti-vaxxers and their retarded fucking kids die.
Sebastian Cox
YES BRING IT!
Zachary Wilson
Moral of the story: don't visit southeast asia LOL
Angel Thomas
No, current vaccines aren't perfectly fine. Look at the statistical analysis per disease at raisinghealthychildren.net and you'll see that mathematically there are only a few niche cases (Hep A if you're going to spicland, or Hep B if you're HepB+ and whelping a crotchfruit, for example) where it even makes mathematical sense to get the vaccine.
Picture it this way: in 2-3 generations you eliminate all natural immunity from exposure or maternal antibodies. At that point, all you have to do is have "supply line issues" with the vaccines (as regularly happens) and one nigger from Africa turns into the mythical smallpox blanket from the colonization of the New World. All white people could die from otherwise harmless diseases in a matter of a few years, and the unwashed/unvaccinated niggers of the world (and the Jews who refuse to vaccinate at disproportionate rates) will be all that's left.
Think on that for a bit. Right now we already have "supply chain problems" with basic drugs in the US like saline IV fluid and antibiotics, and it's killing people. Just wait until 20 years from now the vaccine teat goes away and everyone dies from fucking measles because we've allowed our immune systems to become completely naive. We're not there yet, but we're only a generation away.
Don't poison your kids. Let em get sick. Let em be strong.
Bentley Morales
Murdering anti vaxx idiots isn’t a crime it’s an act of self defense from retarded “I know better than established science!” retardos.
Nathan Stewart
People who don't vaccinate their kids are generally more educated on the matter then most. They don't say vaccines don't work, they have legitimate concerns about the safety of them. Every insert explicitly states that there are serious risks involved just like anything in medicine, but the propaganda shouts that they are safe and effective and you are putting your child at risk by not getting them. Why won't anyone take their concerns seriously. They are shouted down and called names and told that they're retarded. There are almost no studies comparing the vaccinated Vs unvaccinated. Why not? They say it's unethical and wouldn't produce results because unvaccinated kids tend to have parents who promote healthy lifestyles. WTF? Why can't parents ask any questions. When I asked the doctor why my son needs a hepatitis shot when he was only 2 hours old he screamed at me that I was a bad parent and putting my son at serious risk? He told me its because it can transfer between the mother and child and it's best to get it as soon as possible. When I asked if that would only apply if the mother had hepatitis he stormed out grunting. Jew's are out to get the world in every aspect, medicine, media, politics. But vaccines? Why are we not aloud to criticise them? Why can't we demand full accountability and transparency? Why are the companies that produce these vaccines immune from liability?
>They don't say vaccines don't work, they have legitimate concerns about the safety of them. This. There's a very real risk to vaccines, and the reward is dubious. If you don't care about herd immunity, and I don't, why would I take that risk? I've had the measles as a child and like my ancestors, I didn't die. Why would my children?
Aiden White
>He and his then wife were influenced by reports Ooooh! This is a gold mine! Can we find those reports? Imagine how great it would be if they chose not to vaccinate based on some news story from CNN! >CNN 12 years ago >Do vaccinations cause autism? >CNN now >People who don't vaccinate their children are dangerous!
Sebastian Roberts
Vaccines aren't antibiotics; they are vaccines. They give you IMMUNITY to the disease by priming your body to fight it off. They do not weaken your immune system; they force your immune system to create antibodies, which are the exact thing that your immune system uses to fight off diseases.
Gabriel James
Sure it's possible. The odds are incredibly better if she has kids before 28 though. The life of my child isn't something I would gamble on.
Ethan Scott
why are americans so fucking retarded? this is stuff the blacks down here would believe in. i saw that in minnesota there was an outbreak because some of the somali niggers didn't believing in vaccinating their little monkey children.
Jaxon Taylor
All children of anti vaxers should be taken by force. Their parents should be forced to watch as they are vaccinated. But they will be assured that no autism will happen because their kids will be lobotomized and used as slave labor to prevent further anti vaxx idiotcy. Then the parents will spend the rest of their lives as research guinea pigs
Sebastian Price
Herd immunity doesn't exist for any disease except perhaps rubella under our current vaccination schedule. Every other vaccine typically wears off completely by adulthood. Some, like HPV which only lasts ~6 years, doesn't even last that long.
Derp derp, let's tell a 9 year old girl she can now fuck with impunity, and by the time she's 15 she's no longer protected (assuming she ever was due to the high failure rate of the vaccine). Just in time to jump on the cock carousel and get cervical cancer.
Yay!
The myth of herd immunity is the greatest myth of the vaccination propaganda: outside of possibly rubella, every single adult you pass is statistically not vaccinated for anything at all other than perhaps the flu, and we all know how worthless that is. Nobody likes to mention that we have an average of 8000 cases of mumps every year usually centered at college campuses in which >80% of those infected were fully vaccinated.
Robert Rodriguez
yikes pharma kike
Liam Ortiz
they got measles, sure. they'll get over it. are they autistic? dint think so. checkmate vaxx fags
Adrian Morgan
>thread full of dipshits saying it'd have been fine if not for those immigrants it'd still be fine if timmy'd been vaccinated, then only the immigrants would be dying
>no vaccinations >vacations in southeast asia fuck is wrong with canadians?
Jaxson Ramirez
Is there a difference in antibodies created by a vaccine and the antibodies by contracting the disease?
This is what I'm wondering
They do say that if you have had vaccinations and you do contract the disease that your symptoms are milder, right?
Jason Gray
You must mean Reagan and Bush Sr? Obama and Clinton were both stricter on immigration than either one of the last 3 republican Presidents before Trump. The vast majority of illegals came in our country well before Obama, he just had a really shitty 'catch and release' system to bump up his numbers but it's not like he was doing much to stop it.
Nicholas Perry
There is no kikery worse than the anti-vaxxer for he endangers us all
Asher Diaz
I've actually asked my doctor why I would vaccinate my child of six months for a fucking venereal disease. (((She))) said better safe than sorry. This is the type of argument I'm dealing with.
Tyler Sullivan
vaccinated kids are the ones getting measles, dipshit
Evan Howard
Because unvaccinated ones are fucking it up for the rest of them faggot
Carson Foster
how does he endanger you if you're vaccinated? Dummy? Man these threads really get shifty fast Maybe you really shouldn't vax your kids?
Blake Turner
what would prevent the vaccinated kid from getting measles and giving it others if it can be spread like that, wtf
Leo Gonzalez
And because there is so little antigen (even if it's artificially amped up by toxic heavy metals) it only elicits the humoral response instead of the cell-mediated response, causing your immune memory to become weak and fade quickly as the antibody producing cells are repurposed to real threats. Do you even understand the various pathways of the immune system? I do.
Actual febrile infection upregulates our genes and those changes (just like changes prompted by alcoholism or acute stress) are passed to our children through epigenetics. It's not just milk-borne antibodies that get passed along. Incidentally, this is why childhood illnesses have protective effects against many cancers. It only takes a few generations of muting these changes to create a completely immune-naive society that would be helpless without vaccination.
Charles Barnes
Who you going to blame then when the diseases still show up? We who have been on these boards for years know 90% of posters are paid shills. You stand out like dog balls. Real people who post here are smart and know better than to "ask no questions" That's all we are doing when we debate vaccines. We ask questions? The propaganda like answers that flood in are actually doing your employers a disservice. It's starting to become obvious to regular people as well when they see the same coordinated mainstream media stories appear every few months with missing information and obvious propaganda tilt. They know what is going on. You filthy kikes will have your day in the sun and it's going to be glorious.
This is actually informed. Would you vaccinate your children against eg polio though? Are the chances of a life altering disease higher than the chances of damage from vaccine?
James Watson
>HURR DURRR HOW IS INTO HERD IMMUNITY DUMMIE Look it’s not my fucking fault you are ignorant as a subsaharan nigger on basic shit and I’m not wasting time trying to teach you suffice to say don’t worry about autism you are already brain damaged!
Active infection promotes Hb1 immunity, whereas immunization promotes Hb2 immunity exclusively. Supercharging the Hb2 side of the immune system at the cost of priming the Hb1 side increases the risk of cancer and lowers the ability of the immune system to respond to new and novel threats. This is something that is not controversial and has been widely known for decades, and is the reason why physicians and nurses are taught the difference between natural and artificial active immunity.
Most are just too fucking dumb to comprehend the implications of what they've learned.
Lucas Campbell
>Doctors were coming out with research connecting the MMR vaccine with autism. So we were a little concerned Literally none of the doctors.
>people STILL think that vaccines causing autism and vaccines fulfilling their medical purpose are mutually exclusive
Sebastian Rodriguez
Absolutely not. There has not been a case of polio that hasn't been caused by the vaccine in almost 40 years. Polio only has serious complications in under 2% of individuals, and less than 0.1% have any symptoms that last over one month. The majority of those infected with polio have no symptoms, and the majority of the rest only have mild diarrhea. That's it. On the other hand, dozens of people die each year from the polio vaccine, and those are just the ones that are reported.
If you have a 0 chance of having a serious complication from polio, and a 1 in 64,300 chance of dying from the vaccine series (which may be as high as 1 in 643 if the FDA is to be believed), or as high as a 1 in 105,000/1 in 1050 (FDA number) chance of permanent disability from the vaccine, why the fuck would you vaccinate your child?
Juan White
>measles outbreak What's the problem? Isn't it just the unvaccinated getting it then?
Carter Diaz
Only nasal and oral vaccines can cause an infection because as opposed to the vaccines that go directly into the bloodstream the virus is not dead in those only severely weakened.
Adrian Morales
imagine being this much of a fucking boomer kys
Blake Evans
Why would you leave your country if you're knowingly un-vaccinated? Fucking stupid
its actually all the vaccinated people getting measles they must work so well
Jason Price
notice how all anti-vaxxers are white. due to white kids getting unvaccinated, the infant white mortality rate is rising.
who could be promoting this?
Josiah Anderson
Well that's interesting. What's the point of the vaccine then?
Colton Walker
>vaccinate your children so they become infertile and retarded goy no thanks i dont want dr shlomos 4th grade daughters science experiment injected into me fuck off shill
Gabriel Turner
there is none at all anyone who tells you otherwise is just going of trust of the system, big pharma, and the government
Jacob Nguyen
imagine that
Adam Anderson
>infant white mortality rate is rising From which vaccine preventable disease? Please do tell. You imply that white kids who don't get vaccinated for diseases are increasingly dying from them. Which ones?
Because measles vaccines only work if over 94% of the population is vaccinated. It’s incredibly infectious. Some of these hippy places like Portland only have a 70% vaccination rate which is low enough for measles to spread. Vaccines are only effective when a large enough portion of the populace get them.
Isaac Walker
Vaccines aren't 100% effective at giving immunity, it's about breaking enough infection chains that it naturally burns out. (A lot of rich do not get them, so I'd assume they are mildly harmful, but collectively helpful enough at stopping the mass of retarded dipshits that don't care about others.)
Jason Perry
>le guilt trip go back to r/eddit
Wyatt Ramirez
what's with all these questions, user? I think your mind is too busy right now and you should get some rest.
I was talking about the polio vaccine versus polio infection, but I'll bite.
There are numerous case reports in the literature of people coming down with acute measles, influenza, polio, and varicella from attenuated virus vaccines. If you take the time to search the FDA website for the MMR II vaccine, for example, you will find that acute measles infection is a reasonably common side effect of the measles vaccine. The same goes for all the other diseases I listed.
(Those are all parenteral route, FYI.)
Mason Powell
The Chad non-vaccinated vs. the virgin vaccinated and sick anyway AND autistic.
