Only Egypt, Syria and Jordan were seriously involved in it.

Israel's air force got the drop on Egypt (came in under their radars and via the Mediterranean rather than going straight at them to avoid detection, timed their arrival for the Egyptian's tea break) and eliminated their entire air force, leaving their ground forces with 0 cover.

Nasser lied about this to Syria and Jordan so that they'd join in the fight and take pressure off of his troops. They did attack, but again Israel's air force destroyed most of Jordan's and Syria's planes while they were on the ground refueling since they thought that Israel's air force was busy with Egypt still.

Once Syria and Jordan realized they'd been duped by Egypt they wanted out. Also, the Egyptian field marshal had panicked and ordered a retreat, which just made his troops more vulnerable and they were decimated as they pulled back from the Sinai peninsula.

Also, Israeli intelligence had gotten the complete layouts of Egypt's major base, which was to serve as the anvil - the Israeli army was supposed to be stuck dealing with them, then get hammered by the Egyptian army. Instead Israel captured them quickly since they had built replicas of the bases to practice capturing and new the place by memory. They again attacked from different directions than the Egyptians were expecting, and air-superiority was critical in breaking the Egyptian defense.

Other important thing was the 50,000 of Egypt's best troops were fighting in Yemen at the time for dumb reasons (Egypt's Vietnam so to speak).

Syria's army was crippled by coups and purges and in no condition to fight.

Jordan had the only really professional army but had allowed an Egyptian officer to lead things, but it didn't matter once their air force was gone - Israel's planes were able to decimate Jordan's armor with impunity.
