mutts are actually the most retarded backward tribe on this planet
expect NOTHING to change in the next 200 years in regards to space exploration
>2019
>be the greatest economic and military power on earth
>get one, ONE single shitty space station into orbit
>we better make sure the hebrew get their money!
>completely disregard space exploration
>disregard the kessler syndrome
>create (((space force)))
what the fuck

What in the bloody hell has happened to Jow Forums?!

Space Marines look like what you would get if you asked a 5-year-old to draw what a scary man in armor looks like.

The uniforms should be black for better thermal performance and stealth in the inky blackness.
Christopher Cook
It's filled with infantile idiots that like and dislike Warfaggot 40k

Brandon Adams
This is the only logical answer.
Brandon Smith
for theoretical combat in space I think you would probably want vibrant colors so you can tell who is on your side. if one of your guys ends up where he shouldn't you wouldn't be able to ever find him if his space suit is black against the background of the void
Brody Parker
Other than muh pauldrunz it's a fairly logical design, assuming of course we can figure out how to make it manageable for an average human to maneuver in.
>rebreather/filter for hostile atmospheres and vacuum
>boots that can adapt to both high and low gravity and powered joints that make it possible to do more than sluggish movements in either
>integrated comms and night/thermal visual aids
>enough armor and redundancy to enable the wearer to take a hit and not compromise suit integrity
>plenty of room for tacktical g33r
Remember that if there's ever space marines, theyll be elite and expensive to deploy, so they need survivability and their kit has to work both in and out of vacuum, so fuckhuge power armor is going to be useful since it has to be a space suit and offer enough protection to prevent getting rekt instantly by cheap 9mm

Ryder Brooks
Vibrant colors would make it easier for the enemy to target your forces with computer vision guidance, which is the new hotness for weapon targeting and guidance. Space combat will be dominated by stealth and you don't want to give your position away by emitting radar waves or lasers for targeting and guidance.
Nolan Kelly
This, space marines will have to board enemy craft probably in some cases by breaching a hull, can't fight inside a space ship if there's a vacuum and you don't have a suit.
Jose Torres
Robert Gutierrez
There is no stealth in space don't be retarded. This is reality not scifi.
Adrian Parker
You have no idea what you're talking about son.

What it should be: something cool and functional but intimidating.
What it will be in current year:

I in fact do, buddy.

I'm not your buddy, pal.
Tyler Robinson
>be miniaturized semi-autonomous space weapon bot drone covered in radar absorbent ablative armor
>get target on encrypted radio broadcast
>use stealthy ion drive to get into position and start accelerating toward target based on location data and elements in targeting info
>use computer vision and cameras to confirm target, perform final positioning and engage chemical rocket for terminal boost phase
That's where we were in the '80s.
Jack Kelly
I have the flag.
