I remember in 2012 being a hardcore Obama supporter and an atheist. I opposed Mitt Romney simply because he was Mormon. I didn't know anything about his politics. I remember hating Muslims but I was really into black culture, I listened to a lot of hip-hop and read Fredrick Douglass and Maya Angelou. I don't really know what it was that redpilled me. It was just a slow transition that I didn't realize was occurring until I was a full-blown Trump supporter wanting a white ethnostate. A lot of it had to do with how far left Democrats were going I guess. I've changed so much since then. I doubt any of my old friends would recognize me.

Youtube did some good work too...as did the left's turn towards identity politics these last few years); some are largely apolitical and go with the flow (read: Jewish propaganda) so are still kind of liberal and think Trump is a bad person, but also always hate Political Correctness (I think that's something me and my friends have always naturally had/partly why we gravitated towards each other in the early days - just a rebellious streak about being told what you can and can't fucking say...maybe partly why I loved hip hop for a long time.) and think Crooked Hillary was a shit candidate. A mix of Bernie Bros and borderline/closet Trump supporters I'd guess.
The final few have gone full "Orange Man Bad he's evil" leftie. With these people I don't talk politics but I find their constant outrage over everything pretty tiring and stifling. These people see politics in everything since 2016 and have forgotten how to take life easy and not be obsessed with a political figure (of a country you aren't even a part of) to the point where it fucks up your entire day/month I'm making an effort to cut this final third of people out of my life. Partly because they've become annoying as shit, and partly because these people tend to be losers with not much going on in their lives.

It's certainly seems to be the case that, compared to our pre 2012 liberal selves, the friends who have gone far-left have become losers who adopt leftism as a sort of religion (does it provide some sort of psychological mechanism they desperately need? idk psychologists plz respond) and are often unemployed or bounce around failing to hold low-wage jobs for more than 3 months at a time. And a couple of them, it turns out, have LGBT tendencies that we hadn't picked up on back in the day (and that I guess they didn't feel like publicising when we were teenagers). I don't blame them for hating Trump if they believe the media's lies about him hating gays. I blame them for being idiots who get their news on Trump's views on LGBT behaviour from SNL and CNN, lol. He's a Manhattan Boomer ffs, not some Alabama pastor.

The other two sections (apolitical) and (pro-Trump) are a pretty mixed bag, much less degeneracy and depression, but obviously not all high rollers or anything...just normal people. The guys who *most* have their shit together at my age (mid-20s) tend to be conservative, but they won't be baited into revealing a power level higher than that (believe me, I've tried when drunk). Still, if the world was filled with strong, conservative, hard-working white men who support traditional gender roles and believes a strong sense of community is vital in any society, we wouldn't need the far-right to exist at all.
