I grow my own as well, where I can. Salad greens are a really low-maintenance/multiple yield crop and if you're composting, it's probably even a bit more nutritious than buying it. One thing I learned recently is that spinach specifically contains a shit ton of oxalates, so, if your goal is de-calcification it's not the best option. Lemon juice apparently helps resolve that, as will having a surpluss of calcium in your diet.
