They are under the thumb of the Oregon police. They destroyed guns on there behalf.
Benchmade knifes cucked themselfs
get outta here frenchy
less guns = more knives
What a very strange PR stunt. Do they get a cushy payout for doing that?
I know they do some blue versions for law enforcement, but don't know the extent of their support. I would imagine their stance is that less guns on the street makes it safer for cops.
>Should we, IDK, sell them in an auction?
>Nah, let's pay people to destroy them instead.
I have a benchmade auto that will literally push through your hand. They're like HK. They love government money. They hate yours.
Their knives are overrated and overpriced. I hope people stop buying them.
>They're like HK
So, collected by nouveau-riche kids with a need to "flex" on anyone poorer than them?
Bullshit.
The infidel has an auto stop when it hits resistance.
It’s designed that way, numb nuts.
christ this state's cucked. is washington any better?
Every state on the West coast is cucked and you know that's true.
Chinks will hit there hard and take over
west of I-5 is completely lost
yeah I'm sure they are really making a dent in the total number of usable guns in the US
agreed. infidel will poke a small hole in your hand but certainly wont go through it lel.
not really sure how i feel about benchmade participating in this.
That poor SKS
Port Angeles, Astoria, are both great places that follow the triple s rule...shoot, shovel, shut up.
the point is it revealed that benchmade is a bunch of faggots
>there behalf
>there
Fuck me. Never buying a Benchmade again.
Guess it's Spyderco for me then.
goddamnit!
>>t.940-1 owner
Why would you turn in a sks
I'd recommend a Buck Tempest. Served me well for nearly a decade, now.
*knives
I only buy Condor and Bark River...
Bitch made faggots.
How about cold steel?
I still have a few buck knives from the 80s.
I've got my great grandfathers knives from the early 1900s. They are still the best knives in the house.
Mostly good for memes.
>Capitalism is bad
They are getting paid for something that would be done anyways. What is the issue?
I've been very happy with my Spyderco Paramilitary II as an EDC. It's really well sorted out for what it is.
>not buying Case
>cold steel
Sure why not ?
Hell i have knives that the steel is so hard I've never been able to resharpen them (Benchmade ATS-34) and no one else has either. Must need some magic mojo that I don't have. As long as it hold a decent edge for a few weeks, fine by me. Hell I can shave with a Boy Scout knife, don't really need much more although I like the weight of Spydercos in ATS-55.
>Cutting the sawing off a shotgun in front of the police
Absolute madman!
Lot's of good knifes out there.
only one post...this is not a discussion its a shill
breddy much, not that I was ever their target demo
>being proud and bragging about it
I would bake the cake, but I certainly wouldnt tell the world.
Spyderco Master Race
Speaking of, did they ever charge that lady who was running for office that cut an AR-15's barrel down on camera as a publicity stunt?
Wouldn't have cycled on its own, but it still would have worked as a straight-pull bolt-action.
I EDC'd a Ti-lite for several years. Loved it's versatility and use as a kubaton. AUS-8 steel wasn't the best, but I still enjoyed carrying the knife. The only Cold Steel knife I still own is a Pocket Bushman.
I own a 551 Griptilian, 162 Bushcrafter, Saddle Mtn Skinner, and a Puukko.
Benchmade rules!
Those guns were gonna be destroyed either way...no harm in helping the cops.
All you vain fools studied the gun, while we happy few studied the blade. Our time is now.
Supply and demand is also part of capitalism.
How many places do you think have high-capacity steel cutting/grinding equipment that could destroy multiple guns in a short period of time? Not very many. You can't just walk into any corner store and have this done, it's a specialized service.
Suppose there are 3 places in an area that can do it, but 2 refuse outright, leaving the 3rd to charge an exorbitant sum. That frustrates police efforts, drains whatever public money was allocated for this, and overall allows the police to buy back fewer guns.
Yeah I'm not nutty about which steel although I HATE knives that are hard to sharpen. If I can't shave with it after a simple wetstone, it's too much work for me. Seems in my childhood all the knives sharpened easier. Probably softer steel.
Seems like you need a degree in knife sharpening now for some knives. Hell my Grandfather's WWII Kbar sharpens right up really easily with just and old piece of junk whetstone.
Although i do admire the people that can go through the whole process to get a hard steel razor sharp. Better men than me lol
Spyderco all the way. You cant beat 1000x folded japanese steel.
Definitely won't be buying a benchmade now
Agreed. My in the field knives are all 1075, 1095. I have one CPM-S30V
They have a nigger on their webpage grinding a knife, or inspecting one.
They're overpriced knives too.
>Ti-Lite
Great knife (the 4" that is. I think the 6" is goofy).
I've got both an AUS-8 and XHP; I really haven't noticed any difference, outside of XHP being a little harder to sharpen.
I carry a Böker but don’t know how cucked they are.
>not training with both
>not training archery as well
Enjoy being outclassed by well rounded warriors like me who can readily adapt to any combat situation.
>Be knife company
>Support gun destruction
>Gun owners have to switch to knives
>How convenient
>Make massive profit selling knives
OMG I JUST FIGURED OUT THEIR MASTER PLAN! SPREAD THIS!
That's why they often take confiscated guns (ie criminal, poaching, etc) and throw them into the new foundation of a house. Confiscated guns have to be destroyed.
CLAIM:
>They are under the thumb of the Oregon police
FACT 1:
Oregon is a state, and there is no such thing as the "Oregon Police"
FACT 2:
The article clearly references "Oregon City Police", because Oregon City is a municipality.
CONCLUSION: OP is a faggot
Someone modified an ultratech that will go through an apple. It's on YouTube but feeling lazy so no link sry. It's a cool vid though
Lmao
No idea but Solingen knives are usually top notch.
Lot's of great knives out there.
Oregon CITY Police.
Thank you Phillip Morris for assisting us today by burning marijuana cigarettes that are ready to be destroyed.
t. Oregon City Police
Lol more like destroying weapons they confiscated from criminals. They have to destroy a weapon that was confiscated during a criminal trial found guilty. They pile up.
That's an SKS. I feel sick.
Looks like a Russian to me, too.
Id do the same if I had any machine shop but I wouldnt want the bad press
Thats the kind of things alienating parts of your market
Nothing like taking an angle grinder to the barrel whilst the receiver is intact and creating some short barreled shotguns and rifles without a tax stamp.
There’s no reason for this. It’s a very poor PR stunt on their part. You telling me the police department doesn’t have a $15 angle grinder and a garage they could do this in privately?
I've always been a particular fan of using a carbide tipped ripping blade in a circular saw. The carbide doesn't take all that long to burn off, but it makes for good show.
I got a $30 knock off OTF at the gun show that rivals the $300+ Benchmade ones. It's prob not super ultra double folded damascus steel, but then again I'm not planning on fighting a Knight in armor either.
>implying I would ever pay more than $30 for a knife
Anyone who's handing their guns in isn't going around shooting cops.
>handing a gun in with the optic still on it
Doubly retarded
Less knives = more acid attacks
lmao you knife people sound like /mu/ hipsters.
You aren't even supposed to buy $5 knives, all knives last for 100 years and just kind of flow through creation like cosmic ether. Go to bed knifeless and you'll wake up with a functional knife in your drawer and another one in your work clothes and if you do a farty a highly unstable pocket knife portal opens in dark corners of your home.
