Was the UK right or wrong to leave the EU?

We were right to try, but our leaders have done their best job fucking it all up.

Wasn't that their goal initially, to make it long and painful so then people wouldn't want a brexit?

nah you are too retarded to get it done user.

Wasn’t this to be expected? All parties in the Commons were officially campaigning to remain in the EU. It is not a Brexiteer who is leading the exit. Remainers like May have a very big incentive to screw this process up royally to give the impression to the public that the decision of the people was a collossal mistake.

It looks to me the UK’s elites have bought the likes of Theresa May and are now demanding that the UK gov does everything to get a second ref.

I think so.

>not doing the math
they simply overplayed their cards and hoped for the EU to turn around in the last second. EU on the other hand offered a sweet deal, said they are ok with a no-deal, said they are ok with delaying the vote..but nothing ever happens.

Wew.

doubt it, there won't be another referendum.
maybe they humiliate themselves as much as cutting off May to have another referendum under somebody else but I doubt it.

By staying and trying to renegotiate, their leaders would have surely fucked things up badly. Same situation now but with leave. UK needs its own yellow vest chaos.

why are germans so obsessed with wanting the UK back?

we actually want them to leave, they are a burden as usual

This is a pro-Brexit thread. You could have read 3 posts before starting your knee jerk reaction.

Agreed. But there could be a referendum fo rejoin the EU. Not even joking, the FTA negotiations with the EU may extend to 2025 (all within the transition period). At some point, a party like Labour may pledge to hold a rejoining referendum and they might even win a general election with that promise.

This is a pro-Brexit thread. What we are discussing is how things will pan out.

You do understand that what A. you think will happen and B. what you want to happen and C. what actually is happening are all different things, right?

Exports.
German mercantilism would implode and with that the eurozone.
U.K. financial elite are not happy too, but I'm sure they have a contingency plan up and running already.

>everything to get a second ref.

will never happen. It's been good for UK politics. It's polarised opinion and will hopefully get rid of the two party system

The image isn't.

Are you low IQ or something?
German leaders looooooove brexit because UK was the only nation that was always agai st more Integration and always blocked new laws.
UK was the only strong voice that stopped the way for the EU superstate but now they're gone and it can finally happen.

Unironically hope you people are bred out existence

Does the brits stop being rapped by "asians"? No? Then they can't be wrong about leaving EU cucks.

The problem with the EU and with Europe as a whole was, is and will always be Germany.
There will be no stability in Europe as long as a single German nation exists. The reason we've had peaceful and good times after WW2 is solely because Germany was split in two and cucked under allied occupation. The EU was never the reason for peace but a rather unfortunate consequence of it.
Of course the Germans are back now and they're doing their best to fuck everything up as much as they can - which is very much.

>Unironically hope you people are bred out existence
There is a very good chance that this is exactly what's going to happen. But there's a downside. Because as always when it is about Germany committing collective suicide, all of Europe will suffer.
Hopefully this time will be the last time.

tl;dr Fuck Germany, fuck the Germans.
