Trump won mainly because of the Florida upset and the upper Midwest. We're talking about roughly 70k votes spread over the whole country won 2016 for Trump. These states largely voted Trump because of the promise of manufacturing coming back and jobs as well as tackling the opioid epidemic and chain migration. Keep this in mind:

These things are not irrelevant as much as Jow Forums often pretends they are. They're seriously bad things of various degrees. Now look at these other facts.

In 2020 there will be over 30million illegals voting blue. Texas will be closer than ever before in history to give some perspective. Trump has done nothing to fix the border and in doing so has dug his own grave.
TLDR: Florida's gone blue, upper midwest is going blue mostly, Texas will be closer than ever before, Trump's done.

In Ohio, we see strides being made here.
