we arent. i dont think a kraut understands just how remote yellowknife is. an area thats probably 7x the size of germany, and has a population of 37k. its EXTREMELY expensive to transport goods up there. most ice roads are impassable for 4-6 months per year. flying is treacherous, and only small planes fly up there except military.
