Christianity is non-existent in Japan and won't proliferate all that much for the most part. Catholicism is becoming super popular in South Korea for some reason though. Asia may paradoxically become the next stronghold of Catholicism as well as Christianity with a few other places, we now just need to oust the current pope Cuntis and return to our roots to secure the existence of the Holy Church instead of trying to appeal to the degenerate West.
Expel all gay priests, fucking a kid is tantamount to excommunication, revert to the Holy Mass in Latin and last but not least, a priest conducting the Holy Mass now faces the God instead of the fucking congregation.

1% of the population yet they've had 7 Christian Prime ministers and a good chuck of the imperial family converted to Catholicism. Another interesting fact is that while the Christianity has a low population Catholic Schools dominate Japan. Sending your child to a Catholic school is seen as extremely prestigious. Basically give it a few decades Japan and most of east Asia for that matter will be a Christian stronghold. Something else interesting to note. Japan is being converted from top down while China is being converted from bottom up.

Only a rudimentary knowledge. I'm catholic convert myself so I went through a phase of try to read all I could about Catholics around the world. Japan has a wild history with Christianity. You should read about the Kakure Kirishitan. They were Catholics that went underground for 200 years during the persecution. They no official contact with Church for that entire time yet kept the faith. When discovered by a priest in mid 1800 he was shocked. He was the first clergyman they'd seen in 2 centuries yet they kept traditions so well that the priest immediately recognized what they were.

Korean Catholicism is doing fine. Japanese Catholicism is embraced by 1% of the population. It's associated with Western Japanese nobility and Brazilian immigrants. Neither of these really help it grow. It's seen as incompatible with Shinto (unlike Buddhism).

Catholicism is also a good fit as it might not eliminate some of the fine shinto traditions.

Neither of these really seem like big issues, desu. Also, while I'd need to to some additional reading on that last one, the idea that by facing the congregation, the priest is now facing away from God seems uncomfortably close to idolatry (I know prot accusations of idolatry are meme tier but this is different)
I need to do more reading about the current pope as well, but in general I definitely agree that we need to get rid of kiddy fiddlers and people unapologetically disputing things that aren't up for debate (like the core of the "let women be priests" crowd).
