Read mein kampf and zweites buch

My suggestions:
Samuel P. Huntington, the clash of civilizations might be of interest.
Niccolo Machiavelli, the prince

Also you should stop buying that greco-roman stuff. Books written by homosexual pedophiles are of no use.

Huntington is trash, "we're actually innocent and our actions have nothing to do with these people hating us"
And Machiavelli is rubbish his work is the cause of Americas constant conflict starting since the 1970s and Kissinger

Blaming the west solely for problems in third world countries that ultimately steem from domestic problems will neither solve issues nor contradicts any of Huntington's points. Iraqi or Egyptians would still hate the west even without Israel or the gulf war.

America has been in constant conflict way before the 70s. "Machiavellian" politics may have contributed to it. If so, that would make the book even more relevant.

>its not our fault we overthrew the government and installed a dictator
>its not our fault we provoked the Soviets into invading and armed and trained radical jihadists
>its not our fault we support Israel in expropriating Palestinian land and sending in Jewish settlers and maintain a quagmire stalemate in the region
user, pls.

Claiming that the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan was provoked by the west is just tankie talk. The soviet invasion preceded any actual western intervention in Afghanistan beyond what is cultural and economical transmission.

Israel expropriated Palestinian land. In return, every single arabic country expelled their jewish communities and expropriated them too. A coalition of several arabic countries failing to invade Israel basically shows that the "stalemate" also stems from the inherent internal weakness of the arabic world since the mongols and ottomans.

man i wish i could read books :(

The jewish revolutionary spirit and its impact on world history by e michael jones. You simply cant understand history of the last 2000 years without understanding the conflict between jews and christianity

Ultimately, Huntington is right by saying that western and islamic values can't and never will coexist. They are mutually exclusive.

You have a book from a guy named Peter Butt.

Needs less pop conspiracy non-fiction and more hard literature and philosophy... Honestly this is some real small-brain shit OP

You should throw out De Bello Gallico, it's all propaganda and spin. Late-Republic fake news

>Claiming that the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan was provoked by the west is just tankie talk. The soviet invasion preceded any actual western intervention in Afghanistan beyond what is cultural and economical transmission.
OH HO HO HO
PREPARE TO BE REAMED
>Brzezinski: Yes. According to the official version of history, CIA aid to the Mujahadeen began during 1980, that is to say, after the Soviet army invaded Afghanistan, 24 Dec 1979. But the reality, secretly guarded until now, is completely otherwise: Indeed, it was July 3, 1979 that President Carter signed the first directive for secret aid to the opponents of the pro-Soviet regime in Kabul. And that very day, I wrote a note to the president in which I explained to him that in my opinion this aid was going to induce a Soviet military intervention.
>Q: Despite this risk, you were an advocate of this covert action. But perhaps you yourself desired this Soviet entry into war and looked to provoke it?
>Brzezinski: It isn’t quite that. We didn’t push the Russians to intervene, but we knowingly increased the probability that they would.

Being already well aware by the 60s that the soviet union would turn into a failed state. Even if the US managed to Increase the probability of a soviet invasion which I doubt, the invasion was ultimately still a symptome of soviet imperialism. Nothing more, nothing less.

>America keeps interfering in Muslim and Arabic countries
>see this proves that Western and Islamic values can't and never will coexist
hmm

What do you think is a conspiracy?

No David Irving, very very disrespectful

>Huntington is trash, "we're actually innocent and our actions have nothing to do with these people hating us"
Clash of Civs is nonetheless an important book that lays bare some facts that mainstream feelgood culture refuses to recognize. "We" are not innocent, but muslims have in fact been nothing but a big semi-continuous jihad since 622 AD.
>see flag
Oh, you're one of those

>responding to foreign intervention in a country on your border is a symptom of imperialism
>meanwhile the USA meddling in countries across Central and South America, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa is not imperialism

read the book or STFU. you sound like you are reading talking points from someone that read someone that read someone that criticized it, and only the original critic actually read it.

I giggled, thanks

Is it the lens, of is your shelf sagging under the weight of a dozen books?

Stop posting this shit.
These are not your books.

>help Saudi Arabia establish radical madrassahs and train graduates in terrorism and help distribute them across the Middle East and Central Asia
>see guys they have been in a semi-continuous jihad since 622 AD

Attached: Frank Booth.jpg (301x310, 11K)

sagging :(

Just stop.

shelf sag is a real thing, especially with modern chintzy furniture
t. guy with a personal library 5 times the size of OP's

>I giggled, thanks
You're not making yourself look very informed. DeBG is nonstop propaganda and spin. Archaeology and the few other period sources have taken a big ol' dump on Caesar's words.
What about Mearsheimer? "On the Tragedy of Great Power Politics" is a pretty good entry-level redpiller

Attached: image.jpg (2592x1936, 1.44M)

stop it sagging? how?
I have three other bookcases of fiction
What Greek/Roman texts would could recommend?

>still blaming islam on the West
Read the history of the ME, read up on the history of the Armenians and how different islamic and pre-islamic powers treated them. Read up on the difference between how the pre-conversion Ilkhanate behaved versus how the Islamic Ilkhanate behaved. Western shenanigans don't absolve the ummah of their own shenanigans. You are WAY out of your league on this question.

I'm going to dig up a Kublai* quote on muslim behavior, hold on.

*can't blame this one on the West

Honestly I just look at those book titles and think "who gives a fuck, I don't have time to learn about how this war was bad, this war was good, the Bushes did this, the Clintons did that"
Because if you ask me we are infiltrated by demons and sinners and self-hating emasculated faggots and that problem is much much deeper than the goings-on of the day, it's a deep philisophical and religious problem. But hey man at least you read books, that is something I can get on board with

>no no no this modern Western aid should be ignored and lets discuss shit from a thousand years ago instead

So you don't actually know what there is a conspiracy as you called it

kek, falling for the reading jew.

Attached: 1540761613820.png (800x600, 57K)

>What Greek/Roman texts would could recommend?
Since you already have Thucydides, all I can add is Aurelius' "Meditations" and Plutarch's "Lives". I am not the best on classical stuff, I mostly do early medieval thru early modern. "Germania" is interesting but full of spin just like DeBG and shouldn't be taken as fact.

>I'm going to dig up a Kublai* quote on muslim behavior, hold on.
"Kublai, as Marco Polo expressly states, was widely tolerant of all cults... and once displayed extreme annoyance at the obligation imposed upon Muslims by the Koran to wage a Holy War against 'infidels'."
You could attack this on the basis of the primary source being Marco Polo, but when all the Chinese sources and Mid-Eastern sources say the same thing, it's unlikely that the Marco Polo version was imaginary. And from my reading, muslims(usually townspeople) under the Mongols frequently went on pogroms against their non-muslim neighbors, requiring careful diplomacy plus the use of Mongol force to rectify the situations.

Niceeee

how far left are you going?

Pilger
woodward
fucking Scahill
mayer
chomsky
fucking c. johnson urgh....

>no Xenophon
>fucking paperbacks
>OP is a fag

Attached: IMG_1900.jpg (2592x1936, 944K)

and the quote is taken from Grousset, if you care

>milo

fake and gay
also the pre Socratics are a meme
>half the books are by ecelebs

I have Grousset on my shelf, and Plutarch and the rest, as well as numerous books on the Mongols. OP is still a fag.

>The, "I want to piss my liberal family off on holidays" starter kit.

You haven't read one of them.

I have have some of the same titles too,
its good to understand the enemy.

Attached: updated.png (1611x923, 2.96M)

Milos book yeah, thats 1 eceleb.

which others?

You continue to argue after it was cited straight from the horses mouth that the USA provoked the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan
And what do you now try?
Ancient fucking shit from antiquity that has no baring on the modern world
You are desperate
Go away
Get a clue
Is there a problem?
Those books are garbage, ghost written memoirs from corporate hacks and outrage tracts from punditoids
Not to mention conspiracy and esoteric shit
>lol@that one tiny aussie book proving these are your real books and you care so much about foreign politicians
Bernardi is a stooge

>no Xenophon
I know its a little blurry and I am sorry for that but look closely at the third book

You fuck. Is your copy of "Suicide of the West" signed by the author? Do you have Spengler's "Man and Technics" with a DJ? It was owned by a President of Princeton.

You are all fags, all of you.

Attached: IMG_1901.jpg (2592x1936, 1014K)

believe what ever you want.
too old to care.
that is one years worth of buying and reading.
see my other post for an image of my library.

its you who doesnt read.

Now, go watch some trash on yt and think your smart.

Coulter, Bannon, Ingraham, Palin, Breitbart

lol see my other post, i have your books too.

Seeing a lot of jewy looking names, and no CofC

1/10

Made me reply

Politics, they are not ecelebs.

>look closely at the third book
Apologies. You are OK. Please replace those paperbacks with actual books as soon as you are able.

My copy of Dangerous Liaisons came from a US Army library
It has some interesting handwritten notes

They are

Terrible larp. You don't own those books and if you do youre definitely a brainlet pseud

Do you know how hard it is to find quality hardcovers?

OK.

re-check your books then (which I own also)
by that, all your books are ecelebs too.

Part of my collection thus far... my most highly recommended:

Grimm's Complete Fairy Tales
Aesop's Fables

Delavier's Mixed Martial Arts Anatomy, Frederic Delavier

Chomsky is OK for specific, limited things. He did a good takedown of the US/West intervention in the Yugoslavian war. "The New Humanitarian [something]". He mistakenly attributes this kind of warmongering on humanitarian justifications as being right-wing, which is obviously not true in the Trump era. Hell, even back then it was a bipartisan thing. The biggest warmonger in that situation was a democratic female Jew, Madeleine Albright.
Besides, sometimes reading commies can redpill you on exactly how evil they are. You can pick up on the misleading(by design) language they use. I read a pro-MIR/pro-Allende book written by literal RevComs and came out of it utterly convinced that Pinochet did the right thing.

>journalists and academics are ecelebs
no

>I have Grousset on my shelf,
'sup fellow steppesnerd. if you don't have it already, look up McGovern's "The Empire of the Steppes". It is superior to the Grousset IMO, albeit harder to read because it's fucking dense and full of names to learn. It also covers classical stuff much more than the Grousset, which is mostly Medieval. The dude knew his Chinese sources inside and out.

The first 7 books are good. I see a couple more that are ok but the rest is pop NYTimes bestseller trash.

have fun /pol

stop getting triggered by people who happen to own/read a hell of a lot more than you ever will!

>reads every book on McVeigh/okc

/pol responds : muh its da badz paperz baks..

>too old to care
So you're trying to piss off the young shits at Christmas.
>its you who doesnt read..
No, I read shit that is actually important.

>He mistakenly attributes this kind of warmongering on humanitarian justifications as being right-wing
No he says that the claims of humanitarianism are simply a facile put on to disguise good old fashioned imperialism
And he's not a "commie", he's an Anarchist. He has plenty of criticism of the Soviet Union - where both his professional and political work were banned.

fucks sake man, scroll back up, see my other posts.

I OWN THE SAME FUCKING BOOKS YOU DO.

They're not pop NYTimes bestsellers

I have his book on Asia, and another on the Crusades. French historiography is tasty goodness.

unread>>>>image

I show my books, you get all pissy. haha

have a GREAT day!

>shelf sag is a real thing, especially with modern chintzy furniture
>t. guy with a personal library 5 times the size of OP's
I know, i just wanted a giggle.
t. cabinetmaker

I did spot a full set of hardcover Goethe, in German, snd in decent condition, at Value Village yesterday.

I have a set from the 1890s, in English.

>he says that the claims of humanitarianism are simply a facile put on to disguise good old fashioned imperialism
I wasn't disagreeing with that, but in other comments outside of the book he clearly labels it a right-wing phenomenon

All these books are anti-McVeigh. Timothy McVeigh was a fucking hero!!

What a cuck you are.

I'd like some quality hand made hardwood bookcases to store them all in rather than prefab kit trash but that costs money

Nice collection.
what do you think about the new Loona Song "butterfly"? i thought it was awful

what are those purple books? they look cool

reading the enemy is valuable. like I said in 203986748,
>Besides, sometimes reading commies can redpill you on exactly how evil they are. You can pick up on the misleading(by design) language they use. I read a pro-MIR/pro-Allende book written by literal RevComs and came out of it utterly convinced that Pinochet did the right thing.

>I show my books, you get all pissy. haha
>I show all my retold history stories each written by a different clod historian and most pertaining only to the 1700's.

Well that's cool and all, but what good are they? It's 2019 and we're still repeating history, can your books explain why? No, because they only tell you what happens after it happens.

You can't be faulted given what they cost, but I'm just surprised its not a large span or much weight, the particleboard used must be near cardboard, but its the way of the world these days.

>we're still repeating history, can your books explain why?
Because most people don't study history. Do you realize how much of a non-entity leftism would be, if everyone was a history scholar?

Those Gibbon spines are fucking tacky, man.

it's okay, not your fault you were born black

You need Oswald Spengler for this

see:
DoTW, 2 copies of Man and Technics, and one of The Hour of Decision.

Prussian Socialism and Other Essays is on another shelf.

That's a Heritage Press edition from c.1945. It is printed on quality paper and has excellent maps, fold-outs and plates. It's not hard to find in bookshops (I just saw a copy the other day here in Seattle) and is a worthy reading edition.

I have shitty books but the only one I like is how to win friends and influence people

Any recommendations for book restorations?
My copy of John Stockwells memoir In Search of Enemies which was published in the mid 1970s is a bit beat up

Incidentally there are a lot of interviews with him recording in the 1970s and 1980s by a Texan public access program called AlternativeViews on youtube and he is worth watching

Why would you want a quality hardcover? If you actually read them, then they will fall apart. People who keep there books out for display are fags. Virtue signaling idiots

Marry me, commienon. I want to de-program you from your religion and raise kids with you and argue over historical shit

They are artifacts! You would shit your pants if you saw all of my books.

Start by buying nice books, read them, yes, but give them care. Wrap their DJs in Brodarts. Over time, you will accumulate various areas of interest that become sub-collections.

Then buy more books. I have a few real rarities.

Yeah my school library had a similar version. None of what you what makes it any less tacky. I only go out of my way to say this because you criticized OP for posting paperbacks.

Well I'm not a commie I'm an anarcho-syndicalist/libertarian socialist :3

I will de-program you
And the free market ideology is treated like a religious doctrine

Also are you a grill?

Paperbacks are low-prole, strictly from hunger.

Cringe and bluepilled

But who cares? You read it, you got the info, it's over, move on. Books are not idols, that's why we have problems in the world. Fucking idiots worshipping books

No one is taking about the free market here. And those that do don’t mean it in the auistic way your jewish boyfriend does. Kill yourself you pathetic faggot.
