I work closely with computer systems and we are rapidly automating all of the workload. 5 years ago we automated more than half of our department out of jobs. Now it's up to 90%. Other departments are next. Anyone who works with numbers or data will be jobless soon. Same thing will happen to manufacturing and assembly line work next. It will be harder to automate the trades but even that will happen in this century. No one will have jobs in the future. So where the fuck will they get money without UBI or some other system? If we don't solve this crisis now then there will be mass unemployment, starvation, riots, and civil wars. I'm glad at least one politician is thinking about the future.

STEM jobs will be the first lost to automation after finance jobs. STEM is nothing but numbers which machines are better at. Finance is already being automated. Almost all stock trading is now done by machine and book keeping, tax filing etc is machine based. Next will come programming, engineering and other math tasks that machines do better.
