I must admit that I'm disappointed by Trump so far. I am largely apolitical on grounds of I don't give a shit, but I voted for trump strictly as I thought he might be just enough of a change to settle some rising right wing tensions before they took root and caused something to happen that would make my very comfortable life less comfortable. However Trump has caved on most of his more vocal promises, and what achievements he has accomplished get reported so dishonestly if they get reported at all that I don't have faith in his ability to quell the dissatisfaction of the right. That said it seems to me that the left is currently undergoing enough of a civil war within itself that trump has 2020 unless they get their heads out of their asses quickly. Dems take the white house in 24 and likely 28 depending on the economy at which point look out. 28 we will see some radical right movements and 32 I suspect we will be putting in traditional far right candidate.

Trump was probably the best choice for a white male. The only alternatives were Rand, Cruz and possibly Carson.
But if I recall correctly Rand admitted in one of the debates that he wanted open borders which turned me off.
Carson was really weird. Overly convinced, based on no real evidence, that the Pyramids were built to store grain rather than bury dead Pharaohs. Also didn't really eminate a sense of strength.
Cruz just gave me a real sense of distrust. When anyone is elected president, (((some people))) will come knocking with a list of offers for doing what they say / consequences of not doing what they say. Cruz seemed to me like the type who will take those offers.
Most of the others are objectively worse than Trump for obvious reasons.
Trump already has money. He's nearing the end of his life. He's an egotistical man - which is the best you can possibly hope for as a president. Because it means they aren't doing it for money, they are doing it to make a mark of themselves in history, and probably don't want to be remembered as a shit leader.

But it doesn't seem like Trump has turned out to be great. He's a lot more moderate than what I was hoping for. Also he just keeps cucking to Israel and sending them money and talking about the holocaust non-stop.

I don't think I'll ever get a leader that I actually want, but Trump was certainly better than the alternatives.

Trump was supported due to his antiestablishment rhetoric in the hope he would either remake the current system or at the very least slow down the globalists plans to consolidate soft/hard power structures.

His rhetoric has weakened, and in many ways outright flipped to paying lip service to globalists and their projects. His actions, whether through stonewalling or incompetence, haven't remade any of the areas of globalist dominance, and while he was slowing them down temporarily, it seems they're continuing on regardless.

In short, he was better than Hillary but unless actions are taken by him to drastically remake the current order or to drastically slow them down my eyes remain open to other more beneficial candidates in 2020.
