One is gaming has become much more popular in the last fifteen years. The same thing that happened to the film industry and the recording industry is happening to gaming. The people who built the companies and development terms, people who even if they weren't game makers at least gave a fuck about gamers, have been phased out. Now it's corporatists who just view the medium as product. Furthermore, there is a generation of gamers who only know games as product, and they've been molded in a way to reject anything that isn't the sort of soulless and easily digestible trash that they're given by companies.
The second part is even if STEM field guys might be more conservative, leftists have taken over the HR departments and management. They actively hate the old guard of gamers, and they hate anything that won't push their narrative. Creativity dies in these sorts of environments, which is why AAA Western developers will never produce another good game.

I played Far Cry 5 and thought it was cool at the start. The Montana militia and cult story was sort of fun. But it got lame fast. It wasn't open world enough. The last game I played was RDR2 and I don't plan to buy another game unless there is a company out there that I should support. The games are too fucking time consuming.

It’s way more than skin colour. Also all the interracial couple in the game like Kara with the black android was weird as well

Connor was the best arc but he had the least branching path outcomes sadly. Markus can completely abandon Jericho and Kara can even leave the little girl to die at multiple points in the game.

If we gave androids equal rights and their own state they would excel at everything/they would do better than any country.
