also my understand is that Jordan B Peterson is a follower (somewhat on the down low) of Blavatsky and the Theosophical Society which I think ironically the Nazis were inspired by Blavatsky as well, she talked about a "World Teacher" and I think Peterson took the mantle upon himself even if he will never admit it.

checked. I suspect that the reason kabbalah went mainstream for a while is that it was a preemptive measure. Of the 11 sfirot, the english translations only cover the 7 emotional ones at a level of sod interpretation (sod being a meaphysical one) thereby allowing the slave classes who discover it to leverage the usefulness of controlling their emotions in a useful way but not their intellect in a useful way. The death penalty is for sharing a sod interpretation of the 3 intellectual + hidden sfirot (in my very ignorant and limited opinion).

I think you're conflating Kabbalah with all of metaphysics or popular "New Age" thought movements, when they share lots of common themes but where you see the differences is where you might notice certain cultural or tribal archetypes and strategies.
You get what I'm saying? Maybe Jung did study Kabbalah, but he didn't practice it. He did believe in lots of supernatural stuff and famously he would not see a new patient until his sister did their astrological chart and determined if they could be helped or not. Jung had enough events in his life where he believed in things like spiritualism, astrology, the supernatural. Was he doing this all just to get laid? I dunno, because usually this stuff, the past 50-100 years, has only been popular with women.
