Just finished listening to the ATC from KIAH. They never even radio'd indicating a problem. However the tower did see them drop off radar and started asking planes in the area to try to spot a crash site.

Also per radio communication with planes in the area weather was not good. They were having problems with pockets of storms and traffic was diverting around them.
