In an anthropological study conducted in Laconia in Southern Peloponnese by Tito Körner, showed that most inhabitants were of Mediterranean, Alpine, Dinaric, Cromagnoid and Nordid phenotypes, all of them European phenotypes. As far as hair and eye colour pigmentation, 38% of Greeks in Laconia are light-haired and 43% are light-eyed.
