Most of it's fantasy and the older movies come from a traditional mindset. It still has unrealistically strong female characters but I always write that off since the male characters are in this sense realistically stronger. Their depictions of whites are usually in a monarchy theme, and other than that race and gender aren't big parts of stories. SJWism hasn't taken much hold in Japan even today.

Same I haven't watched a Hollywood film in 5 years or so. Once you notice the patterns, it's hard to ignore them. I also hate their totally irrealistic ''happy ending''.

The majority of whatever Clint Eastwood has directed is great, and there are still some good tv shows that were pretty good as well.
Even though the beginning of the series is shit and there are badly written 2-4 episodes where they shill about space nazis, Stargate SG1 is probably one of my favorite sci-fi's in recent history.

I literally bought and played bioshock 3 up until you get to the safe house (with the two weird siblings). I loved the intro and even listen to the barbershop quartet song on YouTube sometimes.
