>Just save up and buy a house

Why do boomers think we're still living in 1963?

Were you expecting your parents to let you live in their home until they passed away?

It's my house too

>Why do boomers think we're still living in 1963?

Boomers are financially illiterate. They single handedly handed the world to bankers.

Dumb dumb dumb generation.

I was expecting them to raise me to employability.

If a parent cannot do that, they deserve the burden of living with other adults.

>live in parents house
>instead of buying house spend saved money on weapons and SHTF gear
>fortify house after parents die

heh nothing personnel kid

Attached: heh.jpg (600x600, 21K)

Dave Ramsey is a cunt who gets off when callers tell them how much debt they are in. He does have some good advice like stay out of debt and pay cash for everything though. Don’t buy more than you can afford, save 15 percent of your income etc.

Why don’t you buy a house for yourself, and then move into your parents house when they die. Then you have their house and a rental property. You lazy leech.

>buy a house for yoursel
HAHAHAHA how fucking retarded. you can't BUY a house it's literally a subscription service

>fortify house
because that will help you when a mob of hungry normies will lay siege to it

Dumbass. Not if you are generating rental income.

I believe it is much harder than it was back then, but it is still possible. I've got my eyes on some $30,000 properties. Been saving up for two years and already have $8,000 in the bank. Would be more than halfway if I didn't spend a couple thousand dollars on video games last year and another thousand on knives and swords, as well as $5k on car repairs, fucking kike mechanics. I deliver food and get paid minimum wage + tips. Looking at small single bedroom + garage houses that were built in the 60s-70s. So yeah, it's doable. Just takes more commitment and sacrifice. Finding work was ridiculously hard, so much fucking bullshit just to get hired. That definitely needs improvement. You can still buy dirt cheap cars, my father and I bought a 20 year old car for $450 and raced it for a whole year. It ain't pretty but it'll do the job. The used car market isn't as good as it was but it hasn't been entirely fucked by cash-for-clunkers.

This is your future, America

Attached: Wilanów.jpg (2176x1220, 518K)

He never advocates for saving 100% cash for a home you dumbass.

>just GIVE your house to a bunch of squatters in the hope that they pay for it

wtf maybe in america this makes sense but definitely not in australia. rates and fees are far higher than any rental gains. it would take 90 years to pay a mortgage in such a way.

This is why families here build a house with an extra floor. In inevitable expectation of one of their kids for having a 100% payed off 60-80m2 payed off flat to move in.

But then again, we are extremely sedentiary people, switching 2 habitats in their lifetimes max.

Commie blocks?

>illiterate
Fuck me for being drunk.

Boomers think the economy is growing. There exists entire institutions whose only purpose is to create the illusion of financial growth.

Boomers will find the dumbest answers since they cant even see the problem. Good thing is that soon it will all collapse. Bad thing is that nobody will rebuild it once its gone.

I own a house
Im a millennial
Most Millennials are garbage

Attached: 1543527074680.jpg (454x537, 64K)

this is inevitable

Good critical thinking gypsy. Having been in neighborhood so long I have tactical advantage and critical knowledge of neighborhood layout.

How can I buy a house when I cant even afford to rent a place feelsbadman

You can save up...but the house you buy will be far away from where the well-paying jobs are.

So do i. Its not because most millennial are garbage, its because the few industries which are not top-down useless still hire.

I make a comfortable living convincing others they do too.

youtube.com/watch?v=XJybIdAj3sk

It's funny how parents used to have homes that would stay in the family for generations, but now for some reason everyone's being told to take out massive loans from banks to buy new homes just to sell the other home later when your parents die. Sounds like banks are the ones who benefit the most here

You probably spend $200 a month on video games.

I bought my own place at 18. Its not impossible you just have to start small. Im currently trying to save 100k in ten years so I can buy a property in northern new england and live off the grid there.

Make 50k per year
>spend bare minimum on outings
>used car paid off
>rent with a roomie if necessary
>manage to save 20k per year
>5 years later you have 100k,

Now reality
>millenials
>still live in parents basement
>make 30k year as holistic internet engineers and lesbian dance theory Ph.Ds
>go out for breakfast
>2 slices avacado toast and mochasoilattefrapper = 30$
>lunch is vegan tofu tuna served on artesianal organic rye with a kale lemon smoothie = 30$
>dinner is moms mac$cheese and koolaid = free
>uber around town all day because its hip 30$
>get new Hybrid Prius because muh planet = 500$ per month
>cucked.com and other progressive websites = 100$ per month
>Iphone XVIUIXXIXXXXc with 1488gb of data = 199$ per month
>totally month expenses = 1600$ per month
> only saved like 50$

And they wonder why they cant afford to save a house

boomers think life is as easy for everyone like they had
stupid useless generation

Things have changed so much since then. In reality, we’re two different cultures.

this but grandparents edition
>Grand parents live in rural bumfuckland
>Parents can't relocate
>Uncle's wife wants to move out of state soon
I'll be sad when they go but having 60 acres and a 3,500 sqft house is gonna be nice

Man I'd take the commie blocks if rent becomes affordable, I live in central PA and a one bedroom apartment is 600~month without utilities since the natural gas shit fucked rent prices up a few years ago. I've got student loans, works insurance is shit so I gotta get overpriced government trash because I'm a sickfag and cant afford rent anymore. I wanna die

>a one bedroom apartment is 600~month without utilities since the natural gas shit fucked rent prices up a few years ago

how is this expensive? it's like 1/5 of your average wage

you forgot the part where jobs still existed and lowskill workers weren't fighting in their hundreds for every available position.

Attached: bigly.png (620x341, 18K)

>cut up cards rather than simply pay the entire balance every month

So as a otherwise healthy 26 year old I'm paying 300/month for student loans, 500 month for health insurance because my medication uninsured is 2600/week, rent to my mom cus shes a cunt 250/month, has, car payment, car insurance man fuck I wanna die. I have a "good job" too for the area. Prolly gonna an hero when I get the balls to go through with it

>medication uninsured is 2600/week
What is your illness?

why did you buy a new car?

Psoriatic arthritis and plaque psoriasis. Its hell on hearth without the injections. Popped up on my 23rd birthday outta know where and made my life miserable.

It's used it's almost played off

tfw paid off condo master race

This.

Whenever people talk about unemployment in Australia they like to leave out the fact that theres ~1million people who statistically, CANNOT GET A JOB.

Would be nice if we could stop giving big corps handouts and use the cash to try and create even the slightest form of industry in this country

sounds like LBS, Lil bitch syndrome, I'm prescribing 500cc's of man the fuck up.

The meds I get would probably be free for you, I get humira and clobetazol foam and steroid pills and have to get blood work every month since it weakens the immune system

oh.
you probably should have got a job in insurance then, that way you'd be paying yourself.

so it seems like you're still able to save up at least 500 bucks every month, if not more

how can you even complain?

I'm constantly amazed at a generation of takers intent on checking into assisted living facilities. Even as their children and grandchildren beg for their company, their desire is nursing homes, where they feel they will live an extra year or so in a pampered way. They abandon their families for Florida and then check into an assisted facility. They never realize they are a new type of selfish monster, Frankenstein living in their own self created hell, Dante's inferno. It is the most selfish individual generation.

get a job

>parents
>owning a home
nah gen X screwed up big time, they still fucking rent. Baby Boomer grandparents do own theirs though

Attached: 1550243382348.gif (300x225, 1.92M)

you don't say...

I live in a long beach apt 2bd 2 bth and pay 2,000$ a month to live in a "good neighborhood" just to have nogs and spics steal from out gated garage. atm the gf and I are gonna be moving to ohio to live rent-free in her fathers vacation house LEL. Im gonna be going from making 21.35$ an hour in the aviation manufacturing business to probably making 8$.... dont know about getting unemployment but I want nothing to do with this state (CA) I cant start a family, I cant save money, rent just keeps going up n up .

>Spent a couple thousand on video games
>video games
>$5k on car repairs when youtube exists and has a video of every possible repair
>Talks about dirt cheap cars, but spent $5k on car repairs
>Is this satire?

You talking about old folks moving in with other old folks?

why do millennials believe in boomer global warming still?

>$30,000 properties

In my county you could barely get a 2000sq ft lot for that price

you're going to just ignore the knives and swords?

>$30,000 properties
jesus christ that's cheap
western europe housing market is completely fucked

Attached: 7e8.jpg (586x575, 49K)

Because Boomer wages are still really high. They make over 100k per house hold, on which you can still live like it's the 50s to 80s. Young people however are stuck in 35k jobs with a shit tonne of student debt and no hope of a +60k job unless they were super smart, had rich parents that sent them to the ivy league, or are really good at networking (kissing ass and sucking dick)

eastern European is even worse as compared to salaries desu

Just get on welfare and start working a job you can’t be taxed on. Just Iike niggers and spice.

Just save up until another recession hits then all of a sudden everything doesnt cost ridiculous jew prices.
Got 3 acres of land this way in 2008.

I’m horrible at networking in that since. The moment someone does something retarded I tell them nicely, but it usually evolves into me losing my shit on them one day because they continue to do stupid shit.

What is "building equity"?

isnt welfare just SNAP and EBT ?

Go do loan calculations on housing and ask why the fuck you would own vs renting nowadays. Not to mention to have to babysit the fucking property but cutting grass, maintenance etc, PLUS you take on all the risk in the event of AC failure, roofing, etc. Housing is a fucking meme unless you make way over what the payments are.

I'm talking about "well off" boomers who have ditched their families for Florida. They all end in assisted living facilities which leach every penny of inheritance away from their children. It is a selfish, self indulgent generation. They are a curse to their families rather than a blessing.

You have ta pay for the new germans Hans

based and redpilled
see the Jews fuck whitey using this boomer shit of dumping all your money into some landlords pocket. I’m not leaving my parents until I’m married like all the nonwhites do.

Australia is different bird.

Jobs on your island are limited to domestic production and thats about it.

I can only think of one thing that Australia exports (Terex heavy equipment) and thats about it, and its not really all that popular.

But if you are in the US jobs are plentiful. You must have to be willing work hard.

Amazon just opened up a distribution center south of Austin. Starting at 22$ per hour. Thats good money for unskilled labor...

>this
It's harder to save nowadays, because there's just so much more stuff to consume. Boomers had disposable income, but barely anything to spend it on - little in the way of electronics, entertainment was limited to weekends. Pasttimes were cheap hobbies and activities like reading or home mechanical work.

It's definitely millenials overspending that is causing them to be effectively poorer, but I'm not convinced it's actually their fault but an overstimulation - you wouldn't blame a drug addict for being addicted to drugs if every hour of every day you offered him a plate of heroin.

>rentseeker calling others lazy leeches
*wheeze*

unless you regularly physically maintain your own properties you are a NEET when your income is derived from rent

Never gonna happen. Americans are NIMBYists. They go ballistic over low cost apartments.

That's a good goy, continue the cycle and act more like a nigger.

There's literally no good reason to rend an apartment unless you got a lucrative job in a far away area.

Buy a house when you can afford it.

My country is probably one of the few countries that have falling housing prices "and that's a good thing"
Renting your property out us one of the dumbest things you can do in my country. We have that protect people who don't want to pay. Also not uncommon for criminals to hijack your property and they start renting it out

>he thinks apartments are cheap

>My country is probably one of the few countries that have falling housing prices "and that's a good thing"

I guess your economy is falling even more then.

>mfw was only 10 in a poorfag family when the great recession hit and couldn't do jack shit about it
my family only just recovered from that a few years ago

they can't 'own', idk where the fuck my 'father' is and my mom barely earns 2k a month, taking out a mortgage for a shitty 400k house at age 40 isn't a great idea. i'm moving back home in 3 months and will help her pay some of it, it's the best for now. Will put all the rest of the money I save into Vanguard Group investments

Attached: 05ec2b6abf22abdcf4ed73cc18ae5807.png (858x725, 228K)

>30K to BUY

that's like... 6 months rent of a nice one-bedroom apartment.

Not all of them are, I'm gonna study dentistry and my parents told me to stay at home while I finish my studies so I don't drown in big debt. They understand tutition is getting really expensive and understand a good education is better than working at a fast food. Plus my father has told me minimum wage sucks right now and it should be raised. Some boomers though are completly oblivious to current events and they don't even open a newspaper and get all of their media off facebook.

Attached: 1550840879813.png (819x827, 16K)

the fact that leftists or republicans can let spics have a niglet when heavy bounty on socialism. it should be clear that government is no more. property is basically worthless at the moment. boomers aren't wise. any house requires repairing. California is a lost cause. it is communist from the south to the north. cartels are basically muttard capitalists. which wont work.
boomers.explain this. my friend from years ago had to get his shit paid off because the 'capitalist' government wanted to create a shitty road right above his shack.

>shitty
>400k
You live in the wrong place you poor dipshit

>Buy my books
>Listen to my radio show
>Pay to come hear me talk
The guy is full of shit, and making money off of people who really can't afford to be taken advantage of. Suze Ormann is another snake.

Not just that, but the new Obama Medicare/cade (the one for old people), will put a lien on any property, so good luck leaving that house (or any money) to your kids.

Attached: 35252552.jpg (1920x1061, 956K)

I bought a house user, never again will I rent. It's a total waste of money, buying a house is an investment.

>$5k/m rent
Considering rent should be not more than 25-33% of your income, you'd have to be earning $15-20k per month ($180-240k/y). On a normal ($2-3k/m) salary you shouldn't be spending more than $500-750 on rent/mortgage.

>>Buy my books
>>Listen to my radio show
>>Pay to come hear me talk
>The guy is full of shit, and making money off of people who really can't afford to be taken advantage of. Suze Ormann is another snake.
Lmao exactly, I bet he gives terrible advice, I heard him say credit cards are shit, but that's nigger talk, if you use a credit card as a debit card or cash in mind you literally earn free money or points for gift cards or even flights and hotels. Paying debt or cash only is like not wanting to earn free money because you can't control your spending.

Fuckin hell you need to be redpilled on this shit
Fast for a week then do the carnivore diet for a month then slowly add back in plant foods to see how you react. Stop being slave to pharma jew

Boomer here. In my city a cheap starter home can be found for under $10K. Idiots paying $500-700 per month to rent the name type of house in the same neighborhoods.

I pay 1000 a month for an apartment.

My sister pays 1000 a month for a house and 1000 a month in taxes.

After 30 years she'll own a house that she still has to pay taxes on forever 1000 a month and I'll still be paying rent.

I fail to see the difference except that she's paying double for 30 years.

Please explain to me why I would buy a house.

Also she is responsible for all maintenance, I'm responsible for absolutely nothing. I don't have to do any yard work. Renters insurance is like 15 bucks a month vs hundreds for home insurance.

The one thing is I don't have a garage, which I would like but my sister doesn't have one either.

not that it matters but just turned 70 and things have changed so much it is well mind boggling. Went to work after College, total cost for a 4 year degree to me from a good university about 3000. Went to work at Dupont in distribution center making about 25000 a year. My first house cost 30000. 2000sg ft. one acre, well made. First car, a camero, 3500 dollars. Hell we still had silver coins. Good luck kids. Think the big difference for me is that only about 20 percent of kids even went to college. Most found good jobs in manufactoring coming out of high school. the myth of the need for college astounds me.

> go to college
>get a good job
>still takes almost ten fucking years to pay of debts and save for a house downpayment
Seems pointless now that I'm old and fat after working my ass off all those years.

how big is your apartment and how big is her house?

>care/caid
Care is old, caid is poor/disabled
"Cripples and retards get grenades"
or
"Poor faggots get aids"

Starter home under 10k? Yeah right that things gotta be fucked from the ground up

>your island

if only you knew how bad things really are on "my island". I could warn you of places where the bodies are gutted before the locals throw them on the back of a ute and take them to the morgue, "aye coroner she's dead ok just fucking write what I told you if you dont want a shotgun in the chest", places where you can't drive through. places where the phones don't work and the police don't go.

But you wouldn't believe me. Not even mainland Australians believe me. They think we are some kind of whimsical rednecks.
