I used to be a software developer in the 90’s and early 2000’s. Back when it was just a career and it was fun. Now that field is over run with all these ‘edgy’ developers who are needy as fuck and literally can’t survive outside of their computer, and all these women get in it and use it as social media material to get attention like they’re somehow special. I made the switch over to being a sysadmin, the majority of guys I work with a actual men who do real world shit outside of work, into guns, cars, sports and all that. That and the pay is always better.

Well, I don't drink (I use to be an alcoholic). With that being said, I was actually seriously considering starting a defense contracting company coding automated flight systems for quad-copters/swarm technology. You'd be surprised to know just how much that field seems to be taking off within the defense contracting industry.

Plus, people in this field tend to be more redpilled than those in Silicon Valley. With that being said, it's always possible I suppose.
