Cows and pigs are a perfectly natural environmentally positive renewable food source. Crickets on the other hand need to be produced in climate controlled buildings and processed with complicated machines. All of this requires massive external inputs. Even though normal people could grow crickets on a small scale it's still easier to keep cows and pigs. If you need more cricket space you need to build or expand infrastructure while if you have a need for more cows or pigs you just let them fuck more and magically little cows and pigs start falling from the sky, This idea that what humans have been doing for literally thousands of years is going to have some kind of negative impact on the environment is fucking retarded and devious.
